There is no need for any practice, there is no need to follow any Guru to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.+

All Gurus and their teaching of the past and present Glorified the ‘I’ and made seekers permanently remain in ignorance.

Most seekers are sentimentally and emotionally get involved with ‘I-centric Gurus and their teaching and refuse to accept anything other than their Gurus teachings. Such seekers who follow 'I-centric Gurus and their teachings are blocking themselves from the truth, which is hidden by the ‘I’, which itself is ignorance.

Yoga Vasistha says: ~ Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only by means of inquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.

The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.

That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, and none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but the Soul.”

A Guru is needed for the religious and the yogic path. There is no need for a Guru in to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Swami Vivekananda: ~Jñāna Yoga is divided into three parts. First: hearing the truth--that the Atman is the only reality and that everything else is Maya. Second: reasoning upon this philosophy from all points of view. Third: giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that Brahman is real and everything else is unreal.

The ‘I’ becomes ‘I’-less in deep sleep and the ‘I’-less appear as waking or dream (duality). The one that appears as the ‘I’, and the one that disappears as the ‘I-less Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The ‘I’ (mind) and ‘I-less (Soul) both are one in essence.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the three states are merely an illusion. The ‘I’ never exists in reality.

The ‘I’ is impermanent. The ‘I’ comes and goes as waking or dream, and disappears as deep sleep. There must be something permanent, to register the coming and going, of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ itself is an illusion. The Soul is the witness of the ‘I’ is permanent and eternal.

The Soul is the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in all three states.

It is for the seeker to go on his own and remove all the obstacles, which is blocking the realization of the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

The greatest hindrance is mixing religion, God, scriptures, and yogic theories. Moreover, attachment to scriptures, personal God, and religious code of conduct keep one permanently in the grip of the dualistic illusion or Maya.

Embark on the journey of the truth; it frees the Soul from the illusion of form, time, and space.

When you finally realize the ‘Self ‘ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Self-inquiry is to realize the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the ‘self is the ‘I-LESS Soul’, which is present in the form of consciousness.

If the inquiry does not include the universe then it is incomplete. The universe itself is what God is all about. The totality of the universe is what God is all about. You just study the nature of the universe with all the seriousness and sincerity to unfold the mystery of the universe. That is all you have to do. The universe is the seeker's school.
Sage Sankara: ~ VC-63-"Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
All the religious scriptures and holy books are irrelevant -- God's greatest book is just in front of you.

That is why Sage Sankara says:~ You must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.

Sage Sankara says: - VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.
Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.
Sage Sankara says: ~ The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Remember: ~

You are not the ‘Self.

You are bound by form, time, and space.

You are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.

You are never free because the world in which you exist is the product of ignorance.

It is not you who is in ignorance but it is the Soul, which is in ignorance of its own true nature. When the Soul wakes up from its sleep of ignorance and remains in its own awareness the world in which you exist becomes one with Soul-awareness.

When ignorance vanishes through wisdom than the world in which you exist never again prevails as a reality.

The world in which you exist is created out of single clay. That single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the Self. The Soul is not ‘I’. The Soul is the witness of the ‘I’ which appears and disappears.

The Soul is the only permanent thing and the ‘I’ is merely an illusion. If you are unable to grasp non-dualistic truth you will never be able to cross the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion of Maya.

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ “If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such a mindset. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

Advaita is the true nature of existence. The ‘I’ hides the Advaitic reality. Realize the ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of consciousness, which is Advaita. Consciousness is Advaita because it is second to none.

The world in which you exist is the Dvaita (duality) is merely an illusion created out of consciousness, which is Advaita. The Advaita (nonduality) is real and eternal the Dvaita (duality) is merely an illusion.

Holding ‘I’ as the ‘Self’ is the cause of ignorance. Realize the ‘I’ is merely an illusion. Stop identifying the Self as ‘I’ or ‘I AM’. Till you identify the Self as ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ the Soul will remain in the cage of ignorance. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaita is basically a denial; it is literally the negation of the Dvaita.+

In India Advaita and Dvaita is a merely religious tradition, which they inherited from their ancestors. No one questions their validity because it is considered blasphemy to question their religion, their Gurus, and Godmen or the pundits.
People who are attached to their religious code of conduct and trying to preach Advaita, which is mixing the individual life, and the concept of God.
All mixed-up hotchpotch teachings are not the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
Religious Gurus themselves are not aware of the fact that individuality and their worldly life are part of the illusion.
Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred eons, without realizing the Oneness.
According to Advaita Vedanta, the Veda addresses itself to two kinds of audiences - the ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices, and the more advanced seeker who seeks to know Brahman. Thus, the Purva mimam. sa, with its emphasis on the karma kanda of the Vedas, is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. However, the Vedanta, with its emphasis on the jnana kanda, is meant for those who wish to go beyond the dualistic illusion (ignorance).

Those who lack the intelligence to discriminate between The Soul, which is the witness (subject) and the three states (object) will not be able to grasp what is real and what is unreal. Both subject and object are the consciousness, not the subject alone.

Remember:~

Advaita is not a theory.
Advaita is the nature of the truth.
Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the ‘Self’.
Advaita is the Soul itself.
Advaita is the nature of God in truth because Rigveda says the Soul itself is God.
Advaita is nothing but God in truth.
Thus, it is time to realize the world in which we exist is created out of the Soul, which is the ‘Self’.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is the cause of the world in which we exist and it, itself is uncaused.

The Soul alone is real and eternal. The eternal Soul itself is God in truth. There is no other God other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Advaitic truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to realize because you have accumulated mental garbage from different sources in the name of Advaita.
Until you discard religion you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is hidden by dualistic illusion or Maya.

The Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self shines in its own awareness when Advaitic wisdom dawns.

Remember:~

Sage Sankara says you need to study philosophy to realize the Self hidden by the dualistic illusion.

Advaitic wisdom exposes the oneness hidden by the dualistic illusion. the Soul, the Self pervades the in everything and everywhere in the universe, which is a dualistic illusion. there are many creatures but there is only one Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

How can you talk of many Souls when the whole dualistic illusion (universe) is created out of single clay? The single clay is the Soul, the Self of the whole dualistic illusion.

Sage Sankara asks his opponents "How do you know there are separate individual Souls? Have you seen the Soul of a man? You can only say that you have seen different bodies. To say more is to misuse language. Therefore, I call you liars unless you give proof, which is impossible.

The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing ‘this truth is impossible to get Self- realization.

The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe itself is the mind. The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the universe is nothing but consciousness. The universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness.

It is impossible for any human being to challenge successfully the Advaitic position, as Sage Sankara says.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ ‘Brahmano hi pratisthaham’- Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (Gita 14.27)

Bhagavad Gita itself says the all-pervading consciousness is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material.

Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul and the innermost ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists. Without the Soul the world in which you exist ceases to exist, which means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman (Spirit) is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

To come to a more precise understanding of what non-duality is or might mean, we must return to the original linguistic and philosophic backgrounds from which the word has been translated into English.

If we limit a probe of the meaning of non-duality to Hindu Sanskrit literature, we find that the most frequently used term is “Advaita.

Advaita” is not a religious concept. Advaita is the nature of existence hidden by form, time, and space. The seeker has to attempt to rule out from the start a false understanding of reality by a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.

The Advaita is hidden by the Dvaita. Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Dvaita is the universe.

Advaita is basically a denial; it is literally the negation of the Dvaita. That means whatever remains by negating the Dvaita (universe) by realizing the universe is created out of single clay and that clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, the hidden truth by Dvaita uncovered. Consciousness is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused.

Thus, the path of wisdom is the only means. Then it is no use going roundabout way, trace the Brahman which is the formless substance and the witness of the universe (mind). By tracing the source of the mind or the universe one will be able to realize the Brahman. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is a need to verify the facts about the religious Gods before accepting anything as God.+

God is merely a word used by the religion that believed there is a higher power that is the cause of the creation. Different religions used different words for the same thing. The idea depends on the man’s imagination. God is an English word. Different languages used different words for the same thing.
The words are there for only communication purposes. Sages of truth called the ultimate truth as Brahman. For then the ultimate truth is God in truth.
The earliest uses of the word God in Germanic writing are often cited to be in the Gothic Bible or Wulfila Bible, which is the Christian Bible as translated by Wulfila (a.k.a. Bishop Ulfilas) into the Gothic language spoken by the Eastern Germanic, or Gothic Tribes. The oldest part of the Gothic Bible, contained in the Codex Argenteus, is estimated to be from the fourth century. During the fourth century, the Goths were converted to Christianity, largely through the efforts of Bishop Ulfilas, who translated the Bible into the Gothic language in Nicopolis ad Istrum in today's northern Bulgaria. The words guda and guþ were used for God in the Gothic Bible.~wiki
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit.
Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.
There is no God but God. There is no God because the world in which we exist is merely an illusion created out of God, the Spirit. Call it by any name God is universal. God belongs to the whole of humanity.
Religion creates separation God is unity in diversity. God is one which the cause of the whole world in which humanity exists. there is no God but God means the world in which we exist is an illusion GOD is the cause of the world is real and eternal. God alone is real and all else is an illusion. There is a second thing that exists other than the Spirit, God thus, God is Advaita.
Religion belongs to you. The religious Gods based on blind faith or blind belief belong to you.
All religious code of conduct belongs to you. Religion belongs to you.
But remember you belong to the falsehood because the world in which you exist is created out of the Spirit, the God, which is present in the form of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
God in truth is divine, only held in the bondage of ignorance (matter); perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, freedom, freedom from the bonds of imperfection, freedom from ignorance.
Realize God in truth.
Religious Gods are based on blind faith or blind beliefs. Belief is not God. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul the ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists.

Remember:~

Religions place God as diverse ideas and beliefs. Every religious believer has a different idea of God. Every man has a different idea of the real. There is a need to verify the facts about the religious Gods before accepting anything as God.

There is in religion the element of imagination and sentiments. The ordinary man is happy because religion gives him satisfaction, and pleases his taste.
Every sect and creed concoct a God to suit its own purposes. Belief in such concocted Gods is a great hindrance inthe pursuit of truth.

The man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an auto-suggestion. Belief in religion weakens as man pays more attention to the facts of his practical life within the practical world.
An honest seeker of truth says that he has not seen God. He does not know God's capacities, what God can do, and what God cannot do. Therefore, any statement he might make about God would only be a lie.

The seeker of truth does not wish to tell a lie. Therefore, he does not accept God nor deny God; he simply refuses to make any statement about God because he wants to discover what is supposed to be God. Without verification, he does not want to accept anything as truth.
Every sect and creed concoct a God to suit its own purposes. Belief in such concocted Gods is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth. The man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an auto-suggestion. Belief in religion weakens as man pays more attention to the facts of his practical life within the practical world.
Religious believers are sentimentally attached to their religion, religious ideas of God, scriptures, and religious code of conduct; they will not accept anything else as truth other than their accepted truth. There is no use in discussing such mindsets because nothing can be gained from such discussions.
Religious believers are unfit for the Atmic path unless they drop all their accumulated knowledge.
All sect-based beliefs are dualistic and unphilosophical nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. In spirituality, the ultimate truth is God in truth. Sage Sankara’s wisdom is nothing to do with orthodox belief systems.

Remember:~

Has it ever struck to a religious believer to doubt whether their religion is true?
People never use their reason because they start and conclude that their inherited religion alone is true because they never question it.
Theological philosophers say God is a perfect being, but they have never known God, never proved his existence; hence their ascription of perfection to Him is purely self-imagined. Our reply to religionists is that if we have to test truth in the next world only, we have no proof, so keep your doctrines; we do not want to follow them.
Is impossible to prove the existence of God by any reasoning: you can only say "I believe." The most rational position is that of the agnostic, "I do not know." Yoga and mysticism are primitive things that appealed in the past to an early race and now they indicate an undeveloped mindset when they are taken for truth!
If the yogis have the power of knowing the future, why did they not warn the Government that the terrorists going to attack particular places, and thus enable the former to muster their armies there in time to save the people?
The bomb blasts that happens in the holy places whilst people were praying should have revealed to them how fantastic were their ideas of God. If it does not open their eyes, what can anyone do? They lack brains, and they have become non-thinkers.
Politicians call God as their guide, because he is a clever political purpose, and knows that to sway the masses they must invoke religion. What else can they do? The poor people are not intellectually developed so it is useless to invoke their capacity to think. Politicians are justified by results. But philosophically their statements cannot be proved.
According to their imagination, is the paradise or heaven of religious believers. But where people have got little thinking capacity, they begin to disbelieve through the contradictions of various contending orthodox claims and descriptions.

Remember:~

Mystics see visions of gods and goddesses and adepts according to their own religious conditioning or samskaras

They assert this world is "the expression of a divine power but how do you know?" There are two kinds of telling a lie. First of which they are conscious. Second of which they are not aware. In the second class belong those religionists who talk of heaven, God, etc. as though they had seen them exist.

The possibilities of scholastic or mystic arguments are endless. If one says "Brahman is Nirguna" another will reply, "No, he is Saguna! If one says "This religion is higher" another will reply, "No, it is lower." It is impossible to get anywhere with such talk because both sides are merely imagining.:~Santthosh Kumaar

I am highlighting all the obstacles in the inner journey and how to overcome these obstacles. All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the Atmic path. +

I am highlighting all the obstacles in the inner journey and how to overcome these obstacles. All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the Atmic path.

It is for every seeker, who is on the Atmic path to realize himself “What is the truth?, “and “What is untruth?” to assimilate the Self–Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The path of wisdom is divided into three parts:~

First:- Hearing the truth--that the consciousness is the only reality and that the universe along with you is merely an illusion or Maya.

Second: -Reasoning upon these words of wisdom of Sage Sankara from all points of view.

Third:- Giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

All the gurus of the east and west have made the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara very complicated with their excessive analysis.

People have been conditioned by religious myths which have made them a non-thinker. Without coming out of the religious myth it is impossible to realize God in truth.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

God in truth is the Atman, the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not accept any other God other than Atman not worship other than Atman.

Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Nothing is real but God. Nothing Matters but love for God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is and all else is an illusion.

Remember:~

Manduka Upanishad has no assumptions whatever. It is an honest and bold inquiry into truth. It rises above scripture.

Manduka Upanishad:~Reality and illusion together make Brahman: nothing can be left out.

Manduka Upanishad:~ Atman is the highest Reality.

Manduka Upanishad:~Only a few will be able to understand and assimilate it.

Manduka Upanishad is not meant for all, as it is based entirely on reasoning.

Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that universe by its very nature is illusory. The moment you understand that the universe is illusory, ignorance disappears and Self-awareness arises.

Self-awareness is the state of non-dual reality. That is the state of Advaita.

People never realize non-dualistic awareness through religion and yoga.

Self-awareness raises only by mentally transcending the dualistic illusion into non-dualistic reality

My postings are only signposts. The seeker needs to reflect constantly on the subject till the cobwebs of his doubts and confusion get cleared.

The path of wisdom is not for the exchange of views and opinions. One opinion may be used to contradict another, so both may be thrown away. Opinions are only thoughts. Thoughts are not the truth we are seeking because the ultimate truth is nondual.

Error in your understanding of non-duality will not yield the ultimate truth.

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
From that moment you know the Soul as the Self, the seed of Advaita will be sown in the subconscious and start growing.

When you get the firm conviction the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is hidden by the ‘I’ which is the dualistic illusion then only Self-awareness arises.
Self-awareness is the Soul-awareness. Soul awareness is God-awareness. God- awareness is Advaita. Advaita is the nature of God. Advaita is God itself.
The Soul is Advaita. The Soul is God. God is existence. Advaita is existence without the division of form, time, and space.
A little mental effort is needed for a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ on seekers' part to unfold the mystery of the ‘I’, which hides the truth of the whole.
So to the serious and sincere seeker who lives in hope and goes on and on, nothing ever prevents him. No failure ever settles in him; his journey continues. He is the seeker of truth. Finally when he has a firm conviction of ‘what is what’ Self-awareness arises just out of the blue. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
