Holding on to some guru or teaching is holding on to ignorance.+

When one is unable to quench his spiritual thirst from his guru or teaching he has to look elsewhere to clear the cobwebs of his understanding and to move forward in his spiritual quest. Holding on to some guru or teaching is holding on to ignorance.

It takes time to become receptive to receiving Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because it is soul-centric knowledge whereas all accumulated knowledge is egocentric.

All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the path of wisdom. Without realizing “What is the truth it is impossible to realize “What is untruth?” Without realizing what is truth and what is untruth it is impossible to assimilate the Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Thus one must know with full and firm conviction what truth is.

Advaitic Wisdom consists in knowing the truth, that everything (mind or physical existence) is consciousness. Freedom (ultimate truth) is always there yet one does not know it. But those whose reason is turned away from physicality and who have attained the serenity of the Soul the Self, are quite near to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

To think one's own body and experience of the world is an illusion is a difficult matter, unless one realizes the self is not physical but it is formless soul it is difficult to have a glimpse of truth.

When you realize that, the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul, which is the cause of the illusory universe then you will realize what is truth and what is untruth.

Remember:~

It is no use in arguing with someone who has faith in his religion because for him there can be no possible refutation of what he believes, so rational argument is entirely useless. He clings to his belief so strongly that he makes no distinction between the truth and his belief.

One has to realize that god cannot exist without his existence. The truth does not depend on God’s existence but it entirely depends on man’s existence. Thus it is foolish to venture into knowing the truth of god's existence without verifying the facts about his own existence.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the Self is neither the body nor the ego. If the Self is not the body nor the ego then it proves the fact that whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced on the base of the self as the body or ego is bound to be a falsehood.

Thus arguing from the standpoint of the body or ego, which is not the Self, is erroneous. Thus the whole argument has to be based on the true Self, which is not the body or ego. Thus it is necessary to realize that, the Self is not the form but the Self is formless to realize the Advaitic truth.

You will always remain in a state of ignorance until you realize the Self is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Remember:~

Common people and primitive minds fall into faulty thinking through their inherited conditioning, such faulty thinking and reasoning make them accept the experience of birth, life, and death as reality; taking what one sees through the senses as real, taking what is apparently as obvious, and superficial as true because it is less troublesome.

Many people adopt the attitude that what they know is the truth. And what others say is false. This attitude makes them not verify anything other than what they know. One needs to be rational, not merely logical. Logic has its value only in the physical plane.

As one advances towards the spiritual plane, he sees the logic underlying experience and becomes more rational. His reasoning is two-fold--implicit and explicit.

Remember:~

The universe will not vanish, when Advaitic wisdom dawns, only ignorance disappears and the unreal nature of the universe is exposed, in the same way as the unreal nature of the dream exposed when waking takes place.

The Advaitic wisdom dawns in the midst of duality (universe) because in reality there is no duality.:~Santthosh Kumaar

The one who identifies himself as a swami, guru, or yogi is not a Gnani.

A Gnani never identifies himself as a swami, guru, pundit, or yogi. Swami, guru, pundit, or yogi belongs to the religious and yogic path, not to the path of wisdom.

Remember:~

If someone has acquired Self-knowledge and shares his acquired knowledge with others, they cannot say that there is nothing for them to do.

Everyone has to discover a fresh for himself by verifying all the facts. Each one has to grasp assimilate and realize it until he gets a firm conviction of the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Mind appears due to ignorance. Without ignorance, the mind ceases to exist.

The mind is present in the form of the universe and the universe appears as a waking or dream. The waking or dream is a state of duality.

Thus seeker has to hold wherever there is duality there is ignorance.

If duality is considered reality then the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is considered reality.

If the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is considered reality then the form, time and space is becomes a reality.

If form, time, and space is becomes reality as reality then there is diversity in unity.

To bring back unity in diversity, one has to put the ego in reverse gear until it reaches the ultimate end or source from where the mind rises and subsides.

Seeker has to grow from the inside out by soul-centric reasoning. None can teach him none can make him reach the ultimate end. There is no other guru but Soul, the Self.:~Santthosh Kumaar

There is no need to study philosophies of Berkeley, Kant, Hume, and other western and eastern philosophers.+
