The orthodoxy Advaita bifurcated from Advaitic path of wisdom. The orthodox Advaita is dualistic and is meant for the ignorant populace.+

Sage Sankara was an independent thinker. His wisdom has not been taken seriously by many in India because most of the followers of Sage Sankara are religious orthodox.
It is that philosophy in India was for centuries more an exposition of the ancient classics than the independent thought of individual thinkers as in ancient Greece or modern Europe and America.
Sage Sankara and Sage Goudapada are independent thinkers other schools of Indian philosophy are mere theologies.

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is the only tool to unfold the mystery of the ‘I'. The dualistic philosophy cannot escape the charge of dogmatism.

Remember:~

As one goes deeper into annals of the history he becomes aware of the fact that the so-called present Hinduism has adopted many things from Buddhism, the religion of Abraham, Jainism, and Islam. If one goes deeper enough he will become aware everything is mixed up and messed up in time.

Sage Sankara endeavored toward establishing the Vedic religion and overthrowing Buddhism. But even he was not able to avoid the influence of Buddhism. The influence of the revolutionary atmosphere of Buddhism reappeared in the Advaita of Sage Sankara. His inability to revive the Vedic religion that flourished before the Buddhist revolution in its pure form is discernible.

No one is taken pains to rectify it because; because people have inherited them, from their ancestors and they think it is blasphemy even to hear anything against their inherited religion and belief. Once one gets involved with the religious class it is the end of the pursuit of truth.

The orthodoxy Advaita is based on a dualistic perspective but the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is based on the nondualistic perspective.

The  orthodoxy Advaita bifurcated from Advaitic path of wisdom. The orthodox Advaita is dualistic and  is meant for the ignorant populace.

Moksha or freedom is the same thing in spirituality. Different religions have different ideas of Moksha. Religious moksha is nothing to do with sprituality or Adyathma.
In India Advaita and Dvaita is a merely religious traditions, which they inherited from their ancestors. No one questions their validity because it is considered blasphemy to question their religion, their Gurus, and Godmen or the pundits.
People who are attached to their religious code of conduct and trying to preach Advaita, which is mixing the individual life, and the concept of God.
All mixed-up hotchpotch teachings are not the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
Religious Gurus themselves are not aware of the fact that individuality and their worldly life are part of the illusion.
Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
According to Advaita Vedanta, the Veda addresses itself to two kinds of audiences - the ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices, and the more advanced seeker who seeks to know Brahman. Thus, the Purva mimam. sa, with its emphasis on the karma kanda of the Vedas, is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. However, the Vedanta, with its emphasis on the jnana kanda, is meant for those who wish to go beyond the dualistic illusion (ignorance).

Remember:~

Sage Sankara and Sage Goudpada are independent thinkers other schools of Indian philosophy are mere theologies. Advaitic philosophy is real philosophy. The dualistic philosophy cannot escape the charge of dogmatism.

Advaitic wisdom propagated by Sage Sankara is from a non-dualistic perspective.

There is a need to bifurcate religion from spirituality. People think religion is the stepping stone for Self-realization but it is not so. Religion is based on ignorance and it keeps the seeker permanently in ignorance by hiding the truth with its mythical beliefs and dogmas and superstition. According to Vedas and Upanishads, all the religious propagated beliefs are a myth.

Spirituality is based on the spirit, which is the cause of the universe in which we exist.

There is no need to study neither Advaita Vedanta nor Vedas nor Buddhism to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman. It is no use going roundabout way; trace the Brahman.

Philosophy does not begin with the ultimate truth. The ultimate truth has to be proved, not assumed. Hence, so-called philosophers who take Brahman for granted are not philosophers at all.

Orthodox Advaitin scholars will teach that all is yourself, but none of them can show that this is so, none has analyzed it scientifically, and none can prove it. Rational proof is required so that one arrives at knowing the ultimate truth or Brahman i.e. Gnana.

Orthodox Advaitin scholars' knowledge is based on dogma, parrotism, and repetition of what they read in scripture. Authoritarianism merely assumes as true what another says, but what has yet to be proved.

Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but the liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

Remember:~

Sage Sankara gave out what was of most use to the greatest number of people. Therefore, in the commentaries on the Upanishads, such as the famous Manduka Upanishad, he gave the highest non-dual message of the identity of Atman and Brahman, revitalizing the philosophy and practice of Advaita, while in the commentaries on the Brahma Sutra he gave lesser teaching, posting both higher and lower Maya and higher and lower Brahman (Ishvara) to explain creation for those of lesser intellects until they were ready for the highest truth.
Only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana's negation of duality is possible. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Consciousness is the cause of the origin, maintenance, and withdrawal of the universe is Advaita (i.e. non-dual), which means that consciousness transcends all conceptions, positive and negative. Nothing positive can ever be imagined or said about it.

Consciousness is existence absolute, awareness absolute. The existence absolute means that consciousness is not unreal or non-existent. And it is not unconsciousness. Nothing positive can be stated about consciousness.
The nature of the Soul, the ‘Self’ is the non-dualistic awareness. Non-dualistic awareness is like a deep sleep state. The non-dualistic awareness indicates that the nature of the Soul, the ‘Self’ is inexplicable, indescribable, and unimaginable.

Sage Sankara ’says:~ Gnana is common to all religions.

There is nothing like One Gnana for a Hindu and another for a Christian.

The entire philosophy of Sage Sankara can be summed up in the following statement:-

Brahma Satyam, jaganmithya, jivobrahmaivanaparah: - Brahman alone is real; the world is non-real, and the individual ‘Self’ is essentially not different from Brahman.

This is the quintessence of Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaitic Orthodoxy is the path of ignorance.+

Advaitic Orthodoxy is the path of ignorance. The ignorants worship mechanically performs the prescribed sacrifices without any thought as to why they are doing them.

That is why Ish Upanishads says: - such people no wonder they grope in the dark. They are doomed unless someday the truth dawns on them that to save themselves they must seek Self-knowledge.
And also, it says:~ Worse, however, is the situation of those who worship vidya. The word Vidya ¸ usually means "knowledge, but here it is used to mean "gods and goddesses. Some people worship gods and goddesses so that they may someday attain the same status. They may get their desire fulfilled, but this will only delay their liberation. That is why the Upanishad says that they will be in deeper darkness.
Religious believers are sentimentally attached to their religion, religious ideas of God, scriptures, and religious code of conduct; they will not accept anything else as truth other than their accepted truth. Thereins no use of discussing with such a mindset because nothing can be gained from such a discussion.
Religious believers are unfit for the Atmic path unless they drop all their accumulated knowledge.
All sect-based beliefs are dualistic and unphilosophical nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. In spirituality the ultimate truth is God. Sage Sri, Sankara’s wisdom is nothing to do with orthodox belief systems.
Sage Sankara: ~ VC- Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together (verses-6)
In spirituality the ultimate truth is God. The Atman is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Sage Sankara’s wisdom is nothing to do with orthodox belief systems. Sage Sri, Sankara is the only sage who has final authority on the Advaitic truth. The Advaitic truth is rational truth and scientific truth without dogma.
The Advaitic orthodoxy is not the means to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Advaitic orthodoxy is meant for the ignorant populace that is unfit to grasp the highest truth. The Advaitic orthodoxy is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman.
All sect-based beliefs are dualistic and have nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. In spirituality the ultimate truth is God. Thus, the Advaitic orthodoxy is a sect is nothing to do with the Advaitic wisdom of the Sage Sri, Sankara. The Advaitic orthodox sect is meant for the ignorant populace.
Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg~25
Mundaka Upanishad condemns rituals. The Para or Higher knowledge is the knowledge of the Supreme Being while the Apara or Lower Knowledge is that of following sacrificial rites and ceremonies. (1/2/ 1 – 6)
Mundaka Upanishads:~ So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?" (P.334 line 9)
Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (our true Advaita philosophy) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into truth and have no time for it. (Gita –Chap- IV-v.2)
Mundaka Upanishad~ “The study of the Vedas, linguistics, Rituals, astronomy and all the arts can be called lower knowledge. The higher is that which leads to Self-realization. The eye cannot see it; the mind cannot grasp it. The deathless 'Self' has neither caste nor race, neither eyes nor ears nor hands nor feet. Sages say this Self is infinite in the great And in the small, everlasting and changeless, The source of life.
There is no need for a Guru in the Atmic path.
Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, and none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”
The scriptures are not needed in the pursuit of truth. Even the Upanishads and the Sages of truth declare the same.
Katha Upanishad:~ This Atman cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas, by intelligence, or by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form.-(Ch-II -23-P-20)
Mundaka Upanishad: - This Atman cannot be attained through the study of the Vedas, nor through intelligence, nor through much learning. He who chooses Atman—by him alone is Atman attained. It is Atman that reveals to the seeker Its true nature. (3 –page-70 Upanishads by Nikilanada)
The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the scriptures by realizing the Self is neither the waking entity not the dream entity, but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

In the realm of truth the form, time, and space are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Realizing the single stuff as ultimate truth is Self-realization or truth realization. To realize this truth, there is no need for the scriptures.:~ Santthosh Kumaar

Manduka Upanishad shows how one opinion may be used to contradict another, so that both may be thrown away.+

Manduka Upanishad shows how one opinion may be used to contradict another, so that both may be thrown away. Opinions are not for philosophy; they are as Ashtavakra says, merely thoughts; it wants the truth.

The path of wisdom is not for the exchange of views and opinions. One opinion may be used to contradict another, so both may be thrown away. Opinions are only thoughts. Thoughts are not the truth we are seeking because the ultimate truth is nondual.

Error in your understanding of non-duality will not yield the ultimate truth.

The seeker should not mix religion, mysticism, and yoga with the path of wisdom. All the Gurus of the east and west touch on mysticism to make it more attractive to feed the crowd.

It is necessary to reach larger numbers of serious seekers who care for truth alone. All your understanding and opinions are based on the dualistic perspective. The duality is based on the false Self (ego or you) within the false experience(waking).

Gnanis judgment is based on the non-dualistic perspective based on the Soul, the innermost Self.

Whatever one sees in this world is not real. When you realize the ‘Self’ is not 'you', but the ‘Self is the Soul, then you realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, is present in the form of the consciousness.

The Self is not 'you' because you are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world. From the standpoint of the Soul, the innermost Self, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion.

The experience of birth, life, death, and the world is nothing to do with the Soul the innermost Self. When you are not the Self, you cannot relate the Self with your experience of birth, life, death, and the world because, the Soul, the innermost Self is birthless and deathless because it is ever formless.

When the Soul wakes up with its own awareness, then you and your experience of the world become unreal the same way as the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place.

If you imagine within the dream it becomes unreal when waking takes place. Your imagination within the dream remains a reality till waking takes place. In the same way, your imagination within the waking remains a reality till Advaitic wisdom dawns.

Advaitic Wisdom dawns when you realize you are not the Self but the Self is the formless Soul. If you are not the Self then your imagination has no value because you are the false Self within the illusion (waking).

When the Self is not you then what is the use of dropping the opinion? It is not you who has to drop the opinion but the Soul, the 'Self' has to wake up from the sleep of ignorance. When The Soul, the 'Self' wakes up then the world in which you exist ceases to exist as a reality.

Just by saying you are already that the wisdom will not dawn. A perfect understanding of ‘'what is what' is needed, if one wants to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara:~ For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman.+

Sage Sankara: ~ 'Like a servant who carries a lamp in front of you to find your way, and you have found it, so becomes the Veda to that person. What is the Veda? ~ utterances of those who have known the Truth. Here is one who has known the Truth; why should he or she depend upon the Veda further? Actual realization takes you beyond books. At a certain stage, books become a botheration. The Upanishad itself says that the 'words are only so much of distraction for such minds'

Sage Sankara means Advaita and Advaita mean Sage Sankara. Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is not theology. Theological Advaita is not Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom.

The main hurdle in his way of thinking is the fact that Sage Sankara did not claim to be an original thinker at all, and his philosophy took the form of commentaries on the generality of the scriptures, particularly the Upanishads and the Gita.

Sage Sakara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere bookish knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People study Vedanta and they are under the delusion, and concl that and they declare:~ "I-Am-Brahman", but they fail to realize the fact that Brahman is everywhere and in everything! The existence of Brahman is not limited to his physical identity, because, it the very ece of the form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara says: - VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the nFollowing following Vedanta does not mean that one has become Brahman. One gains thereby a mere intellectual understanding of the truth, which eyond the form, time, and space.

That is why Sage Sankara VC-61- For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together

Sage Sankara goes on to say: ~A sickness of not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine.

Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman (God in truth).” Brahman must be realized. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely noise.

Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying “I am a king.”

A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by subtle arguments.

People dwelling in ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

The ultimate truth or Brahman or God can only be realized through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana can one cross the domain of duality.

Even then it is only a rare one who sees the all-pervading Brahman (God). He sees the Brahman within more clearly than you see the objects of this world with your physical eyes.

Brahman is to be grasped within and is not to be sought outside. When there is a real longing to be united with Brahman, then he realizes the truth beyond form, time, and space. And still, only a rare one realizes Brahman or God in truth.

When the Soul remains in its own awareness then there is oneness in the midst of diversity. In Self-awareness, the world in which we exist is merely an illusion. The Soul, the Self itself is God.

Realizing the Soul, the 'Self' is Self-realization or truth realization or God realization. Self-awareness can never be achieved through an intellectual understanding of Advaita.

It is only one in millions who realizes that consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. A Gnani is fully aware of the fact that consciousness alone is Real all else is merely an illusion.

No amount of studying Vedanta can give Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Bhagavad Gita: 4: 22: ~Who has gone beyond the conflicting dualities like the good (happiness) and bad (sorrow).+

Bhagavad Gita: 4: 22: ~ ".....Who has gone beyond the conflicting dualities like the good (happiness) and bad (sorrow)....."

Bhagavad Gita: 4: 42:~ ".....Cut all such conflicting dualities (doubts) by the sword of knowledge. ....."

People think happiness and sorrow are experienced within the waking experience as a reality because they take the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality.
From the ultimate standpoint, the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion.
The individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world experienced within the dream was a reality within the dream.
The dream became unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when Advaitic wisdom dawns.
Advaitic The Wisdom dawns, when the waking entity (you) becomes aware of the fact that, the ‘Self’ is neither the waking entity nor the ‘Self’ is a dream entity, but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states.

The three states will appear false to the Gnani because he is fully aware of the fact that all the three states are an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Remember:~

The experience of happiness and sorrow, riches, and poverty within the dream is a reality within the dream world. The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, waking the experience of happiness and sorrow, riches and poverty also become unreal when you realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Until you think you are an individual separate from this world you will remain in the realm of dualistic illusion. The dualistic illusion is the product of ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then the ignorance vanishes. When the ignorance vanishes, then the duality never remains a reality.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the world, in which we all exist is merely an illusion from the standpoint of the Soul, the  Self.

Rest in consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness. The Soul is the fullness of consciousness without division of form, time, and space.

Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal all else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Only your intense urge to know the truth will take you to the ultimate end, but your accumulated knowledge will block you from realizing the truth, which is hidden by ignorance. +

On the spiritual path, the seeker must have an intense urge to realize the truth. It takes time to understand, assimilate and realize the Advaitic truth but if you have an intense urge to know the truth then you will surely realize it.

Only your intense urge to know the truth will take you to the ultimate end, but your accumulated knowledge will block you from realizing the truth, which is hidden by ignorance.

That is why Sage Sankara said:~Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred eons, without realizing the Oneness.
If you are the truth seeker then it is better to spend time discovering the facts about your own existence than waste precious time attending Satsang, meeting Gurus and yogis, traveling from one place to another by reading bookfter books, by staying at Ashrams, and by the walking in the Himalayas.
Sage Sankara says ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

All accumulated knowledge, accumulated from here and there leads the seeker away from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

The seeker has to have a rational outlook to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

The Soul, the Self is God. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, consciousness itself is God in truth.

God in truth is not within you but the universe in which you exist is hidden God in truth because the universe in which you exist is created out of Godin truth,  which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, all those Gods people believe and all those Gods you worship aremade Gods because in reality God alone is real and the universe in which we exist is merely an illusion.

People talk about making the mind free, without knowing what this mind in actuality is. The mind itself is the illusory cage to the Soul, the Self.

It is necessary to realize what this mind ton order to free the Soul from the illusory cage of form, time, and space.

The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as a waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality).

The mind will not die because the mind is merely an illusion. When wisdom dawns the unreal nature of the mind is exposed. The same way as the unreal nature of the dream was exposed when waking takes place.

Till you think you are an individual separate from this world you will remain in the realm of dualistic illusion.

The Soul is the fullness of the consciousness without division of form, time, and space. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal all else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Those whose intelligence has been stolen by ignorance worship demigods based on inherited blind faith or blind belief.+

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:` "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from the Self does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Prohibition of idol worship in Yajurveda: ~
Yajur Veda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions.
Yajurveda: ~ There is no image of God in truth. God in truth is unborn and eternal. (Chapter 32, Verse 3)
Yajurveda: ~ God in truth is nondual and pure" (Chapter 40, Verse)
Yajurveda: ~ "They are entering darkness, those who worship the natural things (like air, water, fire, etc.), they are sinking more in darkness who worship created things." (Chapter 40, Verse 9)
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Yajurveda: ~ "They are entering darkness, those who worship the natural things (like air, water, fire, etc.), they are sinking more in darkness who worship created things." (Chapter 40, Verse 9)
Remember:~
Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.
Rig Veda declares God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship in place of real God.
Rig Veda: ~"Say this, all one God in many names" (Rigveda, book 1, Hymn 164, Verse 46)
Rig Veda: ~ Do not worship anyone besides God in truth alone, praise God in truth alone" (Book 8, Hymn 1, Verse 1)
Rig Veda: ~ Praise God in truth would matchless and alone" (Book 6, Hymn 45, Verse 16)
Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth, Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Nothing matters but realizing God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.
God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.
Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth of God in truth. The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.
Those whose intelligence has been stolen by ignorance worship demigods based on inherited blind faith or blind belief.
Remember:~
By studying the scriptures or by performing rituals, worshiping the deities, or chanting God's name the wisdom will not dawn. Without Advaitic wisdom, there is no realization of ultimate truth or Brahman.

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’. Thus it refers to the formless and attributeless God, which is the Atman (Soul), the ‘Self’ within the false experience. Thus it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are imaginations based on the false self.
Thus, Atman or Soul, the ‘Self’ is God in truth.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Only the path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the true nature of the Universal Essence, which is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God in truth) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."
Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
