If one is seeking truth there is no need to discuss no need to argue. One needs to read and think and reason deeply.+

Some people pass their opinion based on their accumulated knowledge thinking their accumulated knowledge as the ultimate truth but their ‘I’ know attitude merely brings on a little personal enjoyment to them but it is not good for Self-realization.
The Atmic path is not a path of exchange of views and opinions but the path of realization of the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Swami Vivekananda:~ The wicked are always looking for defects. Flies come and seek the ulcer, and bees come only for the honey in the flower. Do not follow the way of the fly but that of the bee.
Some people just want to exhibit their accumulated knowledge accumulated from here and there. They think what they know is the ultimate truth.
They think whatever they propagate is the ultimate truth. The question never occurs to them, “Is what I know really the truth?
Mundaka Upanishad 1:2:8:~ “Remaining in the fold of ignorance and thinking “we are extremely wise and learned,” the fools with boastful nature ramble about like the blind led by the blind alone.”
No one can teach anybody. Wisdom is hidden within the world in which you exist. A Gnani can only show the way that much is the work of a Gnani.
A Gnani only guides the seekers to apply their own reason and realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. When the seeker learns to view and judge and reason the three states on the base of the Soul, the truth will start unfolding on its own.
First, the seeker may find it difficult to use soulcentric reason but gradually it will become easy.:~
Instead of finding fault first realize what the Self is in actuality. Honest introspection will reveal that all fault lies with “you” and “your "own perceptions and attitudes. If there is an error in understanding what 'Self' is in actuality it is in “you". Correcting this and changing to a Soulcentric attitude will change your perception and then the Soul; the 'Self' will reveal its formless, timeless, and spaceless true nature.

If you are unable to grasp the truth hidden by the ‘I’ then you will never be able to grasp nonduality or Advaita.

Remember:~

What is there to discuss and argue and exchange opinions when the reality is ever nondual?

Discussion and argument are possible only in the domain of duality and duality is the product of ignorance.
If one is seeking truth there is no need to discuss no need to argue, read and think and reason deeply, then the truth will start revealing on its own. Be an independent thinker.
Do not accept anything without verification the seeker should not argue and waste his time.
The argument will not yield truth. Only intellectuals argue to exhibit their intellectual wealth.
The intellectual argument is based on ego. The ego-based intellectuality is limited to form, time, and space. The truth you are seeking is based on the Soul.
The Soul is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. Thus, what is the use of egocentric argument in the soulcentric discussion?
That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you yourself judge to be true.
Remember:~

It is impossible to deny water is the cause of the snow. In the same way, it is impossible to deny consciousness is the cause of the universe.

Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proof. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is the Self.

Until one thinks of his body as body, ego as ego the universe as the universe, he remains in ignorance because he is still in ignorance and he is unaware of the fact that they too are the consciousness.

The Advaiutic wisdom consists in knowing the truth, that everything (mind or physical existence) is consciousness. Freedom (ultimate truth) is always there yet one does not know it. But those whose reason is turned away from physicality and who have attained the serenity of the Soul or consciousness, the Self, are quite near to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Ashtavakra: ~ Diamonds are not many; only pebbles and rocks are so common. A single diamond is enough.

Intellectuals argue, that if everything is consciousness, how can one give up anything? Can you give up anything? These types of questions are speculation based on the waking entity (ego), which is the false Self within the false experience.

Without knowing the ‘Self is not the form but the ‘Self’ is formless it is impossible to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

All their speculation is limited to the domain of form, time, and space whereas the truth is beyond form, time, and space. They are incapable of understanding and assimilating truth, which is the ever-formless, timeless and spaceless existence. They refuse to verify and they want the truth on their own terms. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You, your words, thoughts, and world in which you exist are products of ignorance. The truth, which you are seeking is hidden by ignorance.+

When you realize the words, thoughts, and world in which you exist are created out of single stuff and that single stuff is consciousness, then you will realize the truth which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

You, your words, thoughts, and world in which you exist are products of ignorance. The truth, which you are seeking is hidden by ignorance.

When everything is created out of consciousness then there is no second thing that exists, other than consciousness. It takes time to grasp the Advaitic truth. All the obstacles have to be overcome one by one.
Realize with full and a firm conviction that: ~
You are not you but the consciousness; your body is not the body but consciousness, and the world in which you exist is not the world but the consciousness.
Everything known, seen, believed, and experienced by you is nothing but consciousness then what else remains, which is not consciousness?

There is nothing else to realize other than to realize that consciousness alone is, everything else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
By realizing everything is consciousness, the Advaitic wisdom dawns. Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’- leads to Advaitic awareness.

No one recognizes the water in the cloud.

No one recognizes the water in the snow.

No one recognizes the consciousness in the universe.

The cloud will not form without the water.

The snow will not form without the water.

The universe will not exist without consciousness.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but realizing God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

Without the world, in which you exist God in truth alone exists. When God in truth disappears the world, in which you exist appears. The world, in which you exist disappears God in truth appears. Thus, realize the God in truth to be the Soul.
The Soul is the Self. Thus, the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
If you stick to the ultimate truth then the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. If you realize this truth you will live in this world but not of this world. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Karma performed by the false self (you) within the false experience (waking) is bound to be a falsehood.+

Karma (Action) will not dispel ignorance itself. Karma itself is based on ignorance Only Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana will destroy ignorance.

The karma theory is meant for those who are immersed in worldly life thinking of the individual life within the particle world as reality. In the path of truth, the karma theory becomes a great obstacle to realizing the truth.

Reincarnation is based on the karma theory. The karma theory is based on birth, life, and death. Birth, life, and death are reality only on the base of the false self. Thus whatever is based on the false self is bound to be a falsehood. Accepting karma theory is accepting falsehood as reality.

Thus whatever is based on the birth identity will not yield any truth. If one accepts the karma theory then it is impossible to treat the world as an illusion. All the pundits’ explanation of karma theory carries no weight in the realm of truth from the ultimate standpoint.

When the Self is not the form but the Self is the  Soul, how karma will affect the unborn Soul, the  Self, which is ever nondual?

That Karma which is done in a previous life and produces the present life is a religious theory. The ego  is not the Self, and the real Self is a birthless entity because it is ever formless and nondual.

Karma theory has no value in the realm of truth because the Self has no birth. The one which is born lives and dies is the false entity within the false experience.

The Soul, the Self is free from karma. Karma is a reality only for those who think of the ‘I’ as the Self and waking as reality.

If one becomes free from the ignorance of the Soul, the real Self, there will be no varied individuals and no varied karmas; misery will thus disappear. He who kills man’s creation sees heaven of non-duality only; the others see only a hell of duality.

Karma theory is based on the waking entity. The waking entity is the false self within the false experience, whereas the self is birthless and deathless.

Karma performed by the false self (you) within the false experience (waking) is bound to be a falsehood. Thus, one has to realize the fact that, the dream entity is also the false self, within the false experience.

The dream is considered as falsehood when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking also becomes falsehood when wisdom dawns. Wisdom dawns when the waking entity realizes it itself is not the self in the midst of the waking experience.

Remember:~
When the Self is neither the body nor the ego, neither the waking entity nor the dream entity, then how the karma based on the false self within the false experience can yield fruits? Karma is a religious fable.

The karma theory is reality only for those who believe their present physical identity (ego or the waking entity) as real, and the world as reality.

When Sag Sankara says the world itself is an illusion, and Brahman is real, then what value the karma theory has when the world is an illusion, because man is part and parcel of the illusory world? Therefore, one has to view and judge the worldview from the standpoint of Brahman (Atman/true self) in order to overcome the duality, which he is experiencing as reality.
Individuality is a reality within the illusory world. Therefore, all the theories created within the illusion on the base of a false entity, within the false experience, have to be the part and parcel of the illusion.

Thus, it is necessary to realize the fact that Atman is the true self and all else is an illusion, to overcome the illusory concept of the cycle of birth, life, and death. Thus to understand and assimilate Sage Sankara’s Advaitic truth, the seeker has to do his own homework through deeper self-search, without mixing religion, scriptures, theories, the concept of god, and yoga.
Sage Sankara says in Aparoksh Anubhuti: ~88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
89. O enlightened one, pass your time always contemplating on Atman while you are experiencing all the results of Prarabdha; for it ill becomes you to feel distressed.
90. The theory, one hears of from the scripture, that Prarabdha does not lose its hold upon one even after the origination of the knowledge of Atman, is now being refuted.
91. After the origination of the knowledge of Reality, Prarabdha verily ceases to exist, inasmuch as the body and the like become non-existent; just as a dream does not exist on waking.
92. That Karma which is done in a previous life is known as Prarabdha (which produces the present life). But such Karma cannot take the place of Prarabdha (for a man of knowledge), as he has no other birth (being free from ego).
93. Just as the body in a dream is superimposed (and therefore illusory), so is also this body. How could there be any birth of the superimposed (body), and in the absence of birth (of the body) where is the room for that (i.e., Prarabdha) at all?
94. The Vedanta texts declare ignorance to be verily the material (cause) of the phenomenal world just as the earth is of a jar. That (ignorance) being destroyed, where can the universe subsist?
95. Just as a person out of confusion perceives only the snake leaving aside the rope, so does an ignorant person see only the phenomenal world without knowing the reality?
96. The real nature of the rope being known, the appearance of the snake no longer persists; so the substratum being known, the phenomenal world disappears completely.
97. The body also being within the phenomenal world (and therefore unreal), how could Prarabdha exist? It is, therefore, for the understanding of the ignorant alone that the Shruti speaks of Prarabdha.
98. “And all the actions of a man perish when he realizes that (Atman) which is both the higher and the lower”. Here the clear use of the plural by the Shruti is to negate Prarabdha as well.
99. If the ignorant still arbitrarily maintain this, they will not only involve themselves in two absurdities but will also run the risk of forgoing the Vedantic conclusion. So one should accept those Shrutis alone from which proceeds true knowledge.
The above proves that karma is reality only on the base of the false self, where one thinks body and the universe as reality.

When one becomes aware of the fact that, the true Self is a formless soul, then karma becomes part and parcel of illusion.

My point is that, if one accepts the karma theory as reality, he will never be able to come out of ignorance. And ignorance makes him believe the cycle of birth, life, and death as a reality.

Thus, the freedom which one is seeking will remain a distant dream. For the one who accepts birth, life, and death as a reality it is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara:-All names and forms are real when seen with the Brahman (Consciousness) but are false when seen independent of Brahman.+

The snow is nothing but water, therefore, the water alone is real. Similarly, the universe is nothing but Consciousness, therefore, Consciousness alone is real.

Yoga Vasistha: ~ “Even as particles of sand floating in water settle down when the water is absolutely steady, the mind of the man who has gained the knowledge of truth settles down in total peace.

Yoga Vasistha: ~ “The sun and the worlds become non-objects of perception, to those who have gone beyond the realm of objective perception and knowledge, even as lamps lose their luminosity while the mid-day sun shines.

From the standpoint of the formless Soul, the ‘Self’, the effect is non-different from the cause. However, in the realm of duality cause is different from the effect. The non-difference of the effect from the cause has to be grasped perfectly to realize from the ultimate standpoint there is neither the cause nor the effect because the cause and effect are one, in essence. That essence is consciousness.

Sage Sankara says:~ If the cause is destroyed, the effect will no longer exist. For example, if from the effect, cotton cloth, the cause, threads, are removed, there will be no cloth, i.e., the cloth is destroyed. Similarly if in the effect, thread, the cause, cotton, is removed, there will be no thread, i.e., the thread is destroyed. (Brahmasūtra Bhashya, commentary on the Brahma-sutra- (9) 2.1.9)

Despite the non-difference between cause and effect, the effect has its ‘Self’ in the cause but not the cause in the effect. The effect is the nature of the cause and not the cause, the nature of the effect. Therefore the qualities of the effect cannot touch the cause because the cause and effect are present only when the duality is present.

The duality is present only when there is an illusion. The illusion is there only when there is ignorance. When there is no ignorance then there is no illusion. When there is no illusion then there is no duality. When there is no duality then there is no cause and effect. When there is no cause and effect then there is a non-dualistic reality.

Sage Sankara says:~ During the time of its existence, one can easily grasp that the effect is not different from the cause. However that the cause is different from the effect that is not readily understood. As to this, it is not possible to separate cause from effect. But this is possible by imagining so. For example, the reflection of the gold ornament seen in the mirror is only the form of the ornament but is not the ornament itself as it (the reflection) has no gold in it at all. All names and forms are real when seen with the Brahman but are false when seen independent of Brahman (Soul or Consciousness). This way the seeker of truth establishes the non-difference of the effect from the cause.

In the context of Advaita Vedanta: ~ Jagat (the world) is not different from Brahman (Soul); however, Brahman (Soul) is different from Jagat.

It has not been possible to preach Advaitic Truth entirely free from the settings of dualistic weakness it has not been more operative and useful to mankind at large because only a few will be able to grasp and realize it.

To realize the Advaitic Truth in a freer and fuller scope the seeker has to realize that form, time and space are one in essence. And that essence is consciousness. And the Soul the innermost ‘Self’ is present in the form of consciousness.

To realize the Advaitic truth the seeker has to be free from all superstitions and orthodox contaminations. The seeker has to be dedicated to acquiring Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana alone.'

A Gnani will easily appreciate the high flights of Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is one of the 'most majestic structures and valuable products of the Genius of man in his search for Truth.

The ‘Self ‘ is not the ‘I’. the 'Self' is not within the body. The ‘Self is hidden by the ‘I’. the ‘I’ is ignorance. the ‘I’ is an illusion.

Remember:~

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality. The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is Brahman or God in truth.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take it as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such a mindset. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

That is why Sage Sankara says: - VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it, and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

People refuse to accept anything other than their Guru's words. For them, their Guru's words are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.

Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

It is very much necessary for the Indian populace to know why Ancient Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma is not present in Hinduism.+

As one peeps into the annals of all history, of all religions, one becomes aware of the fact that the religions with the scriptures have got the largest number of followers and those without scriptures are rare and scarce.

In both these classes of religions, one finds that the truth is the result of the experience of a particular person ~ Jesus, Prophet Mohammed or Buddha and Sage Sankara, Guru Nanak, Mahavira. All of them experienced the truth that they preached. All religions are built upon direct experience of this experience. But there is a difference.

Others have the founders of this experience known as the first founder of the religion and after their name, the religion is known. The other difference is that they now claim that the experience, the prophets had, is now no longer possible. So, one has to rely on the "Belief”.
The experience of the scientists says that if one experience is possible, it will be repeated eternally. This is the Law of Nature. What once takes place, takes place often and always.

Remember:~

The world’s oldest religion Sanatana Dharma or Vedic religion of India is lost and buried under the different founders of caste and sects. Santana Dharma or Vedic religion is nothing to do with caste and sect-dominated Hinduism.

Sanatana Dharma or Vedic religion ancient religion of India emphasis on Self-realization. The inherited religion is adulterated in the past and becomes a great obstacle to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

A great majority of Hindus are not in contact with their religious history therefore, they believe their inherited beliefs as the ultimate truth.

Hinduism is not an Ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma. And all Hindus indulge in non-Vedic practices barred by the Vedas introduced by the different founders of the different sects of Hinduism at different times, whereas the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma is ancient and has no founder. Thus to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the seeker has to realize his inherited religion is adulterated in the past and it becomes a great obstacle is realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

While they do not accept the texts past the Vedas, they are still monists and uphold other Hindu views. In their reformations, they rejected Brahminical control and they are open to all castes and women.

Hinduism is based on myths and thus, the people of India are unaware of the facts of their inherited religious history. The Vedic Culture and Vedas are complete in themselves but Hinduism which is a non-Vedic belief system with all rituals and conduct-oriented practices has been contributed largely by the orthodox priests to suit their convenience!

The vast ocean of Vedic religion or Santana Dharma was consistently steady and calm for a very long period. It appears that as a consequence of the rage of the Buddhist revolution it got suddenly disturbed and flowed down to us in disorder. Even today Vedic religion or Santana Dharma has not recovered from the onslaught of Buddhism and Jainism and is not able to settle in people's hearts in its original form in the same old measure.

Even today Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma has not recovered from the onslaught of Buddhism and Jainism and is not able to settle in people's hearts in its original form in the same old measure.
The Buddhist influence is seen in a great measure in the Vedic philosophy which is followed by the majority of Indians. Thus, it is clear that Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma has not retained its original form, but has been influenced by other religions that have undergone a sea change.

Thus, the influence of Buddhism on Santana Dharma is extraordinary. Even Kumarila Bhatta, who fought with great heroism for the revival of Vedic Religion, was so much influenced by Buddhism that he established for the first time in the country, an atheist Vedic Religion, or Santana Dharma. There is no room for any doubt to assert that the Kumarila Bhatta School was influenced by atheist Buddhism because the school which is based on the validity of the Vedas and rituals refutes the existence of God.
It is also necessary for the people to know why Ancient Vedic Religion or Sanatana Dharma is not present in Hinduism if they are seeking truth in India.
It is very much necessary for the Indian populace to know why Ancient Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma is not present in Hinduism.

India is a spiritual supermarket with diverse philosophies, theories, ideologies, yoga, and beliefs.
Hinduism indulges non-Vedic beliefs such as idolatry, ancestor worship, pilgrimages, priestcraft, offerings made in temples, the caste system, untouchability, and child marriages. All these lack Vedic sanctions, therefore, Hinduism is not Ancient Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma.
Hinduism is the museum of diverse beliefs and dogmas. Hinduism is not the means to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

All Hindus indulge in non-Vedic practices barred by the Vedas introduced by the different founders of the different sects of Hinduism at different times, whereas the Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma is ancient and has no founder.
Hinduism is not Santana Dharma or Vedic Religion. Hinduism is not a religion. Rather it is a group of religions found within India that share common beliefs while still remaining very different.
Hinduism is not a religion but more a way of life. The term "Hinduism" is used for labeling the entire Indian people irrespective of any religion.
The new religion was introduced with new add-ons by Sage Sankara a great Advaitic Sage to uplift the Vedic culture and Santana Dharma, which were in ruins in the clutches of Buddhism.

Sage Sankara endeavored toward establishing the Vedic religion or Sanatana Dharma overthrowing Buddhism. But even he was not able to avoid the influence of Buddhism. The influence of the revolutionary atmosphere of Buddhism reappeared in the Advaita of Sage Sankara. His inability to revive the Vedic religion  or Sanatan Dharma that flourished before the Buddhist revolution in its pure form is discernible.**
No one is taken pains to rectify it because; because people have inherited them, from their ancestors and they think it is blasphemy even to hear anything against their inherited religion and belief.
18 Puranas are introduced in the name of Sage Veda Vyasa not by Sage Sankara but by the saints or founders of different castes because the Puranic Gods are non-Vedic Gods. Vedas bar worship of non-Vedic Gods of Hinduism.
As one goes deeper into the annals of history, it indicates the fact that somewhere someone has added the Puranas in the name of Sage Veda Vyasa the grandmaster of Vedas. It is impossible to accept and believe that Sage Veda Vyasa authored and introduced Puranas which have all conceptual gods.
That is why Swami Vivekananda~ The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods and still die like dogs. Where are these gods? - Swami Vivekananda-The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda/Volume 1/Lectures And Discourses/The Gita II

Remember:~

As one peeps into the annals of religious history he finds that Hinduism which exists today is not a continuation of the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma, and it has no real historical foundation. Hinduism is of a much later origin.

As per the researchers, the two faiths the Hindu belief system has drifted miles away from the Vedic faith so the two seem to be two distinct faiths. It is not difficult to discover that there is no noticeable continuity of Hinduism from the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.

The distinctive characteristics of the Hindu belief system cannot be traced in the Vedic literature. Besides, although the Vedas are revered as sacred texts, there are many people in India who do not know what ‘belief in the Vedas’ means. In most cases, the acquaintance of the Hindus with the Vedas is limited to the few hymns that are recited in temples and household liturgies.

It is for every seeker who is seeking truth must first know what God is supposed to be in actuality according to Vedas and Upanishads and reject all non-Vedic Gods to realize the Atman is real God.

As one goes deeper into the annals of religious history, he becomes aware of the fact that Santana Dharma differs from other religions on this point. Santana Dharma is not based on the spiritual experience of any single individual or any such revelation. It is based on the realization, intuition, and experience of a number of seers, sages, and mystics who realized the Infinite and were illuminated. It does not owe its origin to any one person or prophet nor does it adhere to any papal authority or dogma.
It does not build around one man as its center, though it is not opposed to philosophies built around personalities and prophets. It believes in scientific precision and experiments to arrive at truth any time and many times, so it believes in the free expression of thoughts and inquiry into the fundamentals even. It is therefore a tolerant religion, granting freedom of inquiry and Expression, seeking evidence.
Looking into these entire facts one can conclude that the Santana Dharma is an eternal and everlasting humanitarian religion of all mankind. It is not limited to the teaching of any particular people or class of people or any form of worship. It is a comprehensive way, a law of Being ever praying to be with the Absolute.:~Santthosh Kumaar

The question arises as to what is Santana Dharma. It can safely be said that it is the Sanatana Dharma based on Vedas alone.+

The question arises as to what is Santana Dharma. It can safely be said that it is the Sanatana Dharma based on Vedas alone.

Many claim Hindusim is Sanatan Dharma. If so why call it Hindusim why not call it Sanatana Dharma? The word Hinduism is a misnomer.

The word Hinduism was first used by English writers in the 19th century to describe the multiplicity of faiths of the people of India.
In Encyclopedia Britannica says: ~ The word Hinduism was first used by the British writers in the year 1830 to describe the multiplicity of the faiths of the people of India excluding the converted Christians. (Volume -20, Reference -581)
Swami Vivekananda says: - The word Hindu is a misnomer; the correct word should be a Vedantins, a person who follows the Vedas.

Remember:~

Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma is not Hinduism. The word Hindu came originated from the word Sindhu which is another name for the river Indus. Maybe people who stayed along the Sindhu (Indus) valley came to be known as Hindus.
An exact date of the birth of Santana Dharma cannot be given. They say that Santana Dharma is as old as planet earth. Some claim it is 5000 to 7000 years old Ancient India consisted of indigenous people.

Aryans, Dravidians, Jews, Christian, and Muslims invaded India and all ingenious people were converted to different faith from time to time. Hinduism is a group of different castes, creeds, and faith.
The Hindus believed in polytheism, believing all of their Gods to be separate individuals, which was introduced much later by the founders of Hinduism which contains diverse beliefs caste, and creed.

In Reality, Hinduism is not ancient Vedic Religion or Sanatana Dharma. Hindus do not follow the Vedas. People of Inda think Hinduism is Santana Dharma or Vedic Religion but it is not so.
As one peeps into the annals of religious history, he finds that Hinduism which exists today is not a continuation of the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma, and it has no real historical foundation.

God and Goddesses worshipped in India today are non-Vedic Gods. Such Gods and Goddesses cease to exist without the dualistic illusion. Whatever belongs to the dualistic illusion is bound to be a falsehood.

To be considered an orthodox Hindu one need only accept the authority of Shruti, however, there is no universal agreement among Hindus on what constitutes Shruti.

Vedantins consider the Vedanta, i.e., the Upanishads as Shruti but also include the Bhagavad-Gita and Brahma Sutras as authoritative.

For some Vaishnavas, the Bhagavata Purana is to be considered Veda. Some consider the Tantras are considered Veda. Thus, we find that there is ample scope for different philosophies and practices under the very broad umbrella of Hinduism.

Hinduism as we find it today is not a pure Sanatan Dharma or Vedic religion, but it mixer of different ideologies accepted by people from time to time. Thus, Hinduism is a hotchpotch mixer of many ideologies.

Hinduism is not a religion, it is a way of living for different castes and creeds following their own regional cultures and traditions in different parts of India. All the so called Hindus are divided by caste, sub-castes, and creeds within Hinduism. Thus, the real Santana Dharma, or Vedic religion is no longer in existence in its ancient grandeur as it was prior to Buddhism and Jainism.
As one goes deeper into the annals of the religion one becomes aware of the fact that Santana Dharma has no beginning. Nobody can say when it started. It is without a beginning and so without an end. It is eternal and everlasting. That which has a beginning, has also an end, as all beginnings have an end also.
