Prarabdha(Fate) is true only in the domain of ignorance.+

 

Prarabdha implies duality. Duality is a product of ignorance. Prarabdha is true only in the domain of ignorance.

That Karma which is done in a previous life is known as Prarabdha. Previous life karma produces the present life. But such Karma cannot take the place of Prarabdha for Gnani, as he has no other birth being free from ignorance.

When the present birth itself is an illusion then the past and future birth are bound to be an illusion.

The theory of fate (Prarabdha) is an imaginary theory based on the false self (ego).

The theory of fate (Prarabdha) is for the ignorant, because, those who accept the waking entity as self and the waking world as reality and believe the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world as reality. That means they have accepted their body as self whereas the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, they will remain in believing in the theory of birth, death, and rebirth and permanently remain in ignorance. Thus, whatever is based on the waking entity or ego is a falsehood because the waking experience itself is a falsehood from the ultimate standpoint.

The waking entity and the waking world are a reality within the waking experience. From the ultimate standpoint, the waking experience itself is an illusion.

The body being in this universe does not also exist and due to this, Prarabdha also does not exist, Though the Vedas speak of Prarabdha, For the understanding of the ignorant.

Mundaka Upanishad:~ Ksheeyanthe thasya karmani thasmin drushte cha paravare, Bahuthwam than nishedartha sruthya geetham cha yath sphutam. 98

The body being in this world does not also exist and due to this, Prarabdha also does not exist, though the Vedas speak of Prarabdha, for the understanding of the ignorant.

All actions of man including Prarabdha, Perishes when one is able to see, Brahman which is in the higher and also lower, Thus tell the Vedas with clarity, *Cause and effect If fate does not get destroyed, ignorance gets never destroyed and spiritual realization never comes.

Uchyathe agnai balath chaithaththadaanatha thad vayagama, Vedantha matha hanam cha yadho jnanam ithi sruthi. 99

If the ignorant adamantly refuse to know this, Not only will they get involved in two absurdities*, But also forsake the conclusions of Vedanta, which proceed from Veda, the true knowledge. *negation of Brahman and its realization.

Sage Sankara says in Aparokshanubhuti:~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?

89. O enlightened one; pass your time always contemplating on Atman while you are experiencing all the results of Prarabdha; for it ill becomes you to feel distressed.

90. The theory one hears from the scripture, that Prarabdha does not lose its hold upon one even after the origination of the knowledge of Atman, is now being refuted.

91. After the origination of the knowledge of Reality, Prarabdha verily ceases to exist, inasmuch as the body and the like become non-existent; just as a dream does not exist on waking.

92. That Karma which is done in a previous life is known as Prarabdha (which produces the present life). But such Karma cannot take the place of Prarabdha (for a man of knowledge), as he has no other birth (being free from ego).

93. Just as the body in a dream is superimposed (and therefore illusory), so is also this body. How could there be any birth of the superimposed (body), and in the absence of birth (of the body) where is the room for that (i.e., Prarabdha) at all?

94. The Vedanta texts declare ignorance to be verily the material (cause) of the phenomenal world just as the earth is of a jar. That (ignorance) being destroyed, where can the universe subsist?

95. Just as a person out of confusion perceives only the snake leaving aside the rope, so does an ignorant person see only the phenomenal world without knowing the reality?

96. The real nature of the rope being known, the appearance of the snake no longer persists; so the substratum being known, the phenomenal world disappears completely.

97. The body also being within the phenomenal world (and therefore unreal), how could Prarabdha exist? It is, therefore, for the understanding of the ignorant alone that the Shruti speaks of Prarabdha.

98. “And all the actions of a man perish when he realizes that (Atman) which is both the higher and the lower”. Here the clear use of the plural by the Shruti is to negate Prarabdha as well.

99. If the ignorant still arbitrarily maintain this, they will not only involve themselves in two absurdities but will also run the risk of forgoing the Vedantic conclusion. So one should accept those Shrutis alone from which proceeds true knowledge.

The above proves that karma is a reality only on the base of the false self, where one thinks of the body and the universe as a reality. When one becomes aware of the fact that, the true self is Soul, then karma becomes part and parcel of illusion or Maya.

My point is that, if one accepts the karma theory as reality, he will never be able to come out of ignorance. And ignorance makes him believe the cycle of birth, life, and death or pain and pleasure as reality.

Thus, the freedom which one is seeking will remain a distant dream. For the one who accepts birth, life, and death as a reality, Self-knowledge is impossible.

Thus it is necessary for the seeker of truth to know the fact that the body which is born, lives, and dies is not the self. Since he is taking the body to be the Self, he is experiencing the duality as a reality.

As Sage Sankara says: When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman.

If the body is not the Self, then the karma theory is meaningless, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The prarabdha holds no water from the ultimate standpoint. The universe itself is Maya. Maya is the dualistic illusion.+

What is Maya?

The universe itself is Maya. Maya is a dualistic illusion.

To say the universe is an illusion without first examining it and inquiring into its nature thoroughly is to delude oneself. This world is common to every one of us; therefore the seeker of truth must begin his inquiry with it.

It is only after he has inquired into the nature of the objective world, that he realizes the universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness and is absolutely free from all the limitations of form, time and space.

The Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness is hidden by the Maya.

That is why Sage Sankara says: ~ A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by perverse arguments.

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.

When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Sage Sankara says:~ VC-47-All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.

Remember: ~ All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears, the consciousness still remains without form, time, and space

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the innermost Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus know the ‘Self’ to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

Sage Sankara said: ~A.A~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?

That is why Sage Sankara Says: ~ VC-63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

What is the use of saying ‘I AM THAT’- without knowing what the ‘Self’ is in actuality? Without knowing the truth of the Self, without realizing the truth of the world in which you exist it is impossible to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space. By a mere utterance of the word ‘I AM THAT', the truth will not be revealed.

Sage Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

That is why Sage Sankara's declaration: ~ “Brahman is the truth The World is Unreal everything is truly Brahman and nothing else has any value.

Sage Sankara says: ~ ‘What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead to the final Goal. (Commentary on Vedanta Sutra)

Those who tell you that Brahman is unity, that you can get it only by intuition, that you should not reason, you should not question or inquire, are deluding you. Verification must come by thought. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

When the God in truth appears this ignorance (I) which one thinks it as reality becomes unreal.+

First, realize yourself is the ego and the real Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
All the 'I-centric' gurus and their teaching hold yourself as the real Self. so, it is a great error.
Understanding reality without clarity is disastrous. The lethargic attitude makes one remain in ignorance without proper inquiry and a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.
Until you know What ‘Self is in actuality all your accumulated knowledge is garbage of ignorance.
If you hold the Self within you then you are holding the ego as the Self.
The Soul, the Self is not within you because it pervades in everything and everywhere in the universe.
The Soul, the Self is hidden by the universe. When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Remember:~

The Soul without the ‘I’ is God in truth. God is hidden by ‘I’. The ‘I’ is the cage for the Soul. ‘I’ is the cause of ignorance. 'I' is dualistic whereas the Soul, the Self is non-dualistic.

Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the only weapon to get rid of ignorance.

When the God in truth appears this ignorance (I) which one thinks it as reality becomes unreal.

Remember:~

The ‘I’ is not an individual because the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Limiting the ‘I’ to individuality is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality?

The nature of the ‘I’ is the nature of the mind.

The nature of the mind is the nature of the universe.

The nature of the universe is the nature of the waking.

The nature of the waking is the nature of the illusion.

Thus, it is necessary to study the nature of the ‘I’ to unfold the mystery of the universe.

All the teachings limit the ‘I’ to an individual and glorify the ‘I’ without knowing what this ‘I’ is supposed to be in actuality. All ‘I-centric’ teachings are inadequate and useless for the serious seeker of truth.

If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth must discard without mercy such teaching in order to progress in your spiritual quest.

The seeker must know the ‘I’ is not limited to individuality. The seeker has to see the ‘I’ as the universe, in order to overcome ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then ignorance vanishes.

When ignorance vanishes and the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya you used to think it as reality becomes unreal.

Remember:~

The ‘Self’ is not permanent and the ‘I’, is impermanent. The ‘I’, which appears and disappears is not the Self. The Self is hidden by the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is perishable whereas the Self is imperishable.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

Why are you struggling to find out who you are? You will never find the answer if you get stuck to the ‘I’.

Find out ‘what is this ‘I’, which appears and disappears. What is that is aware of the coming and going of the ‘I’?

Without realizing ‘What is this ‘I’?- you will never be able to realize the mystery of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is the most intoxicating stuff.

Those who use the word ‘I’ for the ‘Self ‘will never be able to cross the threshold of the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The ‘I’ based teachings will not transport the seeker to the ultimate end of understanding.

The ‘I’ is the cage for the Soul. ‘I’ is the cause of ignorance. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the only weapon to get rid of ignorance.

The ‘I-centric’ teachings will not transport the seeker to the ultimate end of understanding. A perfect understanding of ‘what is this ‘I’ leads to the realization of the truth beyond form, time, and space.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say 'I' if you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, you are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The Soul itself is God in truth. Nothing exists without the Soul, which is present in the form of Consciousness.+


When the ultimate truth is rightly known and one attains eternal life thereby. Through Soul, the Self he gains strength and through its knowledge immortality.

One has to realize form, time and space are one in essence and that essence is consciousness. Consciousness is the cause of form, time and space and it itself is uncaused

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth. 

Do not accept any other truth other than consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth. Nothing is real but consciousness. Realize consciousness as the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. Consciousness is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious. 

The Soul, the ‘Self’ is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. The Soul, the Self is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in the universe because the universe is nothing but consciousness.

The ‘Self is not this body the Self is the Supreme Soul. The universe hides the Soul. The Soul itself is God in truth. Nothing exists without the Soul because everything is created out of the Soul is God in truth.

You don’t recognize the ‘Self’ because you are blindfolded by the dualistic illusion. The Soul, the Self is hidden by the universe, which is a dualistic illusion or Maya.

Remember:~

Those Gurus say you are formless; you are birthless without knowing the Self is not you but the ‘Self' is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Those Gurus who assert the Self as you are still ignorant of the 'Self' hidden by the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

You are not the Self because you are bound by the birth, life, death, and the world whereas the Soul, the Self is birthless and deathless because, it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

If you think the Self is you then you are not a wise seeker you are ignorant because your existence is limited to the domain of form, time, and space.

Guru says simply surrender to God without knowing what God is in actuality. There is nothing to surrender. The surrender implies duality. The duality disappears when the Advaitic wisdom dawns.

Those Gurus say surrender to Guru belongs to religion and yoga is not spirituality. religion and yoga are nothing to do with spirituality.

To realize the ‘Self' hidden by the dualistic illusion, you have to realize the dualistic illusion is made of single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Knowledge of the single clay is Self-knowledge o or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into waking experience and waking experience into mind and mind into consciousness by perfect understating of ‘what is what’.

When you realize ’what is what’- you will realize everything is nothing but consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. When there is unity in diversity in our understanding then there is stillness in the midst of diversity.

The Soul, the Self is existence itself. The Soul, the Self is existence without the illusory division of form, time, and space. The Soul, the Self is the fullness of consciousness. The Soul, the Self is Advaita one without the Second.

The Soul the Self is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. The Soul, the Self is God in truth, which is the Advaita. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The universe is objective awareness, which is dualistic. Consciousness is the subjective awareness, which s ever nondualistic.+

When you unfold the mystery of the universe then you will realize the awareness of the object is merely an illusion created out of Consciousness. Consciousness is the cause of objective awareness.

The universe is objective awareness, which is dualistic. Consciousness is subjective awareness, which s ever non-dualistic.
The Soul observes both the objective and subjective. Objective awareness is unreal and impermanent whereas subjective awareness is real and permanent.
Objective awareness is dependent on the Soul whereas subjective awareness is independent and eternal.
Man and his world are within the objective awareness, which is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is an illusion.

Thus, holding ‘I’ as real is holding illusion as reality without knowing this truth it is impossible to unfold the mystery of the ‘I’ (the mind or the universe).

Ice cannot exist without water. In the same way, the mind is mere objective awareness cease to exist, without consciousness (Soul or Atman).

Remember:~

The seeker has to begin his investigation with objective awareness (waking or dream). In deep sleep, no object is experienced. Remembrance implies a previous act of experience. Knowledge begins with experience, with the world.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding on to theories one remains in the realm of duality. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper self-search.

Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.
Sage Sankara says: ~ V.63 ~ "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
In Advaitic Self-awareness, the ego is not considered as ego, even though the ego is present, the body is not considered as a body even though the body is present, and the world which confronts him is not considered as the world even though the world is present, the duality ceases even though the duality is present, because of wisdom everything is considered as consciousness. Thus there is conscious oneness.
Only in ignorance, the world in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self.
The world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.
People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.
The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness.

Thus, all the egocentric (religious) adulteration has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The Soul or consciousness is Self-luminous: it never rises nor sets. There is no proof that consciousness dies. The nature of the consciousness is always to be subject: it can never become an object.

In deep sleep where there is no object, yet there is consciousness. The intellectuals think only about that consciousness which is in relation to an object, something else. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Consciousness is Brahman or the Vedic God. Vedic God is God in truth.+

Every religion concocts a God to suit its own purposes. Such religiously concocted Gods are not God in truth.

God in truth is the Atman, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is Brahman or the Vedic God. Vedic God is God in truth.

Rig Veda:~ ‘Prajnanam Brahma’ - Consciousness is the ultimate reality.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32: ~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

The Vedas exclaim from time immemorial: ~

Rig Veda, 1-164-146. :~ ‘Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti’- Existence is One.

God is one and universal. God is hidden by the universe. the universe is the product of ignorance.

God is the Spirit. The Spirit is the Soul, the Self. God is the Soul, the Self. The Soul is the Supreme Being the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness, and intelligence, which is beyond form, time, and space. Which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘Brahmano hi pratisthaham’- Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (Gita 14.27)

Upanishads say in effect that: ~ if you believe that the Soul is one and God (Brahman) is another you cannot understand Truth.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."

The man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an auto-suggestion. The belief is not God. God of belief cannot exist without the believer. Each religion has its own idea of God.

Prayers and sacrifices belong to the belief system. Belief in a conceptual God kills man’s ability to think beyond form, time, and space. Thus, religion makes one remain in the prison of physicality. When no answers come to prayers and rituals, the struggle for existence presses man, and doubt arises again.

Faith in religion weakens as man pays more attention to the facts of life and this world. Religion is not the means to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The seekers of truth have to follow the Atmic path to realize the Athma the ‘Self’ is God in truth.+

The seekers of truth have to follow the Atmic path to realize, that Athma the ‘Self’ is the real God. Atmic path is the Vedic path because Vedic God is Athma.

Santana Dharma emphasizes Self-realization. Self-realization is God-realization. God-realization itself is real worship.

The Vedas do not talk about idol worship; the followers of Vedic Religion or Santana Dharma never worshipped idols. Thus all the Puranic Gods which are of the form and attributes are not Vedic Gods.

Max Müller says: ~ "The religion of the Veda knows no idols; the worship of idols in India is a secondary formation, a degradation of the more primitive worship of ideal Gods."

Hinduism is not Vedic religion or Santana Dharma. Hindus indulge in idol worship, while Vedas bar idol worship.

The Vedas do not talk about idol worship. In fact, till about 2000 years ago followers of Vedism never worshipped idols. Idol worship was started by the followers of Buddhism and Jainism.

There is logic to idol worship. Vedas speak of one God that is the supreme ‘Self’ in i.e. Atman or Soul but Hinduism indulges in worshiping 60 million Gods. All these 60 million Gods are non-Vedic Gods based on their beliefs.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu ( beast)". (1.4.10)

The Vedas confirm God is Atman (Spirit), the ‘Self’.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the ‘Self’. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Rig Veda declares God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship in place of real God.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."

Chandogya Upanishad says: ~ ‘Sarvam khalvidam Brahma’ ~ all this (universe) is verily Brahman. By following back all of the relative appearances in the world, we eventually return to that from which it is all manifest – the non-dual reality.

Bhagavad Gita: ~Brahmano hi pratisthaham’ ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27)

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita:~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth." The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

So, from the Vedic perspective, Lord Krishna is not a Vedic God because Rig Veda says: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?"

That is why Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth. The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

All Hindus indulge in non-Vedic practices barred by the Vedas introduced by the different founders of the different sects of Hinduism at aa different times, whereas the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma is ancient and has no founder.

Hinduism is not Vedic religion or Santana Dharma. Hindus do idol worship, while Vedas bar idol worship.

Yajur Veda indicates that: ~

They sink deeper into darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc. (Yajurveda 40:9)

Those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, and bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." (Yajur Veda 40:9)

Then why worship and glorify the non-~Vedic Gods in place of Vedic God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.

Sage Sankara: ~"That which permeates all, which nothing transcends and which, like the universal space around us, fills everything completely from within and without, that Supreme non-dual Brahman or God in truth."

One must remember that for all periods the Vedas are the final goal and authority, and if the Puranas differ in any respect from the Vedas, the Puranas are to be rejected without mercy.

If you feel Puranas say something and the Vedas say something else, reject the Puranas and believe in the Vedas. The Puranas are just a myth.

Even Sage Sankara says: ~ Supreme Brahman (God in truth) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described, because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just its attributes. The nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

God is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Thus, according to the Vedas God neither has any image nor God resides in any particular idol or statue. God cannot be seen directly by anyone.

From the Vedic perspective, Lord Krishna has been just a Mahan yogi and not God himself. Because in the Bhagavad Gita says:- Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
