Vedas bar worshipping Gods which are not God in truth.+

Religion propagates Gods based on blind faith or blind belief. Whatever is propagated as God by religion is not God in truth according to its own religious scriptures.

Vedas, Upanishad, and Bhagavad Gita confirm God is the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness.

It is for every seeker who is seeking truth must first know what God is supposed to be in actuality according to Vedas and Upanishads and reject all non-Vedic Gods to realize that Atman is the real God.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter:~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Yajur Veda – chapter- 32: ~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Yajur Veda:~ They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.":~ (Yajur Veda 40:9.)

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other truth other than consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth. Nothing is real but consciousness.

Nothing Matters but to realize the ultimate truth. Consciousness is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious

Thus, it refers to a nondual and attributeless God, which is the Atman (Soul), the ‘Self’ within the false experience. Thus it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are merely imaginations based on the false self. Thus Atman or Soul, the ‘Self’ is God in truth.

The Vedas do not talk about idol worship. In fact, till about 2000 years ago followers of Vedism never worshiped idols. The idol worship was started by the followers of Buddhism and Jains. There is logic to idol worship. Vedas speak of one God that is the supreme ‘Self’ in i.e. Atman or Soul but Hinduism indulges in worshiping 60 million Gods.

It indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mythical Gods of mythology. Mythological Gods are dependent on Consciousness for their existence.

Swami Vivekananda: ~ “The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods, and still die like dogs. Where are these Gods? (In San Francisco, on May 28, 1900, of Swami Vivekananda/volume 1)

Religion breeds superstition because religion is based on blind belief. Whatever is based on blind belief is superstition.

God in truth is not a belief. One must know God in truth. Without knowing what God is supposed to be in actuality worshiping the belief of God is superstition.

Worshiping superstitious Gods barred by Vedas. Know what God is supposed to be according to the Vedas Upanishads Bhagavad Gita and Bible.

The Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God m in Spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

That is why Sage Sankara says:~ VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the ‘Self’ in truth." The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the Self. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ ‘Brahmano hi pratisthaham’ ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Swami Vivekananda: ~ “If superstition enters, the brain is gone. Superstition is our great enemy, but bigotry is worse.

Worshiping any other thing as God in place of the Athma, the all-pervading God, are extremely foolish to remain permanently in ignorance of the real God. What is the use of worshiping Gods which are not God in truth? Realizing God in truth is real worship. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Devotion towards an inherited God based on blind belief cannot transport the seeker towards the nondual destination.+

The devotional path is the religious path. Devotion towards an inherited belief cannot transport the seeker towards the nondual destination.

The devotion is between the person and his belief. The devotion is based on the belief system. The person, who has inherited some belief system, believes in the individualized God and indulges in the devotional path.

Devotional Gods are mythical Gods. Mythical Gods are not Vedic Gods. Vedic God is Athma, the Spirit. Devotional toward myth produces only myth. Thus, we must have the devotion to exploring God in truth.

The devotion makes one believe that he is a person and God has created this world. Therefore, he believes that he is born in this world and the world existed prior to him, this conviction makes him feel he is the doer.

Since he accepts himself as the doer; he will remain ignorant of the true self, which is the Soul. Ignorance makes him feel the illusion as a reality.

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare"

Bhagavad Gita:~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.

Thus, it refers to the nondual and attributeless God, which is the Atman (Soul), the ‘Self’ within the false experience.

Thus, it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are merely imaginations based on the false ‘Self’. Thus Atman or Soul, the ‘Self’ is God.

The Vedas do not talk about idol worship. In fact, till about 2000 years ago followers of Vedism never worshiped idols. Idol worship was started by the followers of Buddhism and Jains. There is logic to idol worship. Vedas speak of one God that is the supreme ‘Self’ in i.e. Atman or Soul but Hinduism indulges in worshiping 60 million Gods.

The idea of religion and religious identity is based on the false self (waking). Belief in a personal God will lead one to hallucination.

Without realizing the Soul, the Self, all types of meditation keep one in the grip of ignorance.

That is why Swami Vivekananda: ~ “The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods and still die like dogs. Where are these Gods?

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the ‘Self’. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman. (10:48, 5)

Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Yajur Veda – chapter- 32: ~God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions. Thus,

Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Yajur Veda indicates that: ~

They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc (Yajurveda 40:9)

Those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, and bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." (Yajur Veda 40:9.)

Then why worship and glorify the non-~Vedic Gods in place of Vedic God when Veda bars such activities and also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara says: ~Whatever thing remains eternal is true, and whatever is non-eternal is untrue.+

Never confuse Advaitic Gnana with dualistic knowledge, you may be dualistically genius, but non-dualistically, you are still ignorant.

Sage Sankara says: ~Whatever thing remains eternal is true, and whatever is non-eternal is untrue. Since the world is created and destroyed, it is not true.

The Truth is the unchanging thing. Since the world is changing, it is not true.

Whatever is independent of space and time is true, and whatever has space and time in itself is untrue.

Just as one sees dreams in sleep, he sees a kind of super-dream when he is waking. The world is compared to this conscious dream.

The world is believed to be a superimposition of Brahman. Superimposition cannot be true.

On the other hand, Sage Sankara claims that the world is not absolutely false. It appears false only when compared to Brahman. In the pragmatic state, the world is completely true—which occurs as long as we are under the influence of Maya. The world cannot be both true and false at the same time; hence Sage Sankara has classified the world as indescribable. The following points suggest that according to Sage Sankara, the world is not false (Sage Sankara himself gave most of the arguments)

• If the world were false, then with the liberation of the first human being, the world would have been annihilated. However, the world continues to exist even if a human attains liberation.
• Sage Sankara believes in Karma or good actions. This is a feature of this world. So the world cannot be false.
• The Supreme Reality Brahman is the basis of this world. The world is like its reflection. Hence, the world cannot be totally false.
• False is something that is ascribed to non-existent things, like Sky-lotus. The world is a logical thing that is perceived by our senses.
Consider scientific logic. A pen is placed in front of a mirror. One can see its reflection. To our eyes, the image of the pen is perceived. Now, what should the image be called? It cannot be true because it is an image. The truth is the pen. It cannot be false because it is seen by our eyes.

Brahman— The One Without A Second.

The Atman is self-evident (Svatah-Siddha). It is not established by extraneous proof. It is not possible to deny the Atman because It is the very essence of the one who denies It. The Atman is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Self is within, Self is without; Self is before, Self is behind; Self is on the right, Self is on the left; Self is above and Self is below.

Brahman is not an object, as it is Adrisya, beyond the reach of the eyes. Hence the Upanishads declare: “Neti, Neti—not this, not this....” This does not mean that Brahman is a negative concept, or metaphysical abstraction, or nonentity, or avoid. It is not another. It is all-full, infinite, changeless, self-existent, self-delight, self-knowledge, and self-bliss. It is Svarupa, essence. It is the essence of the witness. It is the Seer (Drashta), Transcendent (Turiya), and Silent Witness (Sakshi).

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described because the description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is no distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

Sage Sankara's commentary to Brahma Sutras: ~ A Gnani "should pass through life", not run away from life, and should take a middle course between seeking worldly honor and worldly abasement. (ch-3.4.50)

Sage Sankara varied his practical advice and doctrinal teaching according to the people he was amongst. He never advised them to give up their particular religion or beliefs or metaphysics completely; he only told them to give up the worst features of abuse: At the same time, he showed just one step forward toward the truth. Sage Sankara was extremely precise and careful in his choice of words.

Sage Sankara gave religious, ritual, and dogmatic instruction to the masses but pure philosophy only to the few who could rise to it. Hence the interpretation of his writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.

Sage Sankara believed that those of superior intelligence, have no need of this idea of divine causality, and can, therefore, dispense with Sruti and arrive at the truth of Non-Dualism by pure reason.

Sage Sankara’s supreme Brahman is Nirguna (without the Gunas), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without attributes), and Akarta (non-agent). He is above all needs and desires.

Sage Sankara says, "This Atman is self-evident. This Atman or Self is not established by proofs of the existence of the Self. It is not possible to deny this Atman, for it is the very essence of he who denies it. Atman is the basis of all kinds of knowledge.

The Self is within, the Self is without, the Self is before and the Self is behind. The Self is on the right hand, the Self is on the left, the Self is above and the Self is below". : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is for continuously sharing it is not meant for sale in the spiritual supermarket.+

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is real Advaita, not the dualistic Advaita propagated by Eastern and Western teachers for money. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is for continuously sharing it is not meant for sale in the spiritual supermarket.

All the Advaitic Gurus of the East and the West are based on the dualistic perspective. Dualistic knowledge is egocentric knowledge.

All egocentric Advaita or nonduality is based on the imagination. All imagined Advaita is half-baked knowledge, which will not help the seeker to cross the domain of the illusory form, time, and space.

The egocentric knowledge keeps the Soul in the intoxication of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ hides the whole truth.

The Gurus and the teachers of the nonduality of the East and West are stuck up with their own accepted truth gathered from here and there and Their egoic attitude blocks them by realizing the Advaita hidden by the Dvaita, which is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Mundaka Upanishad: ~ So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?" (P.334 line 9)

Scriptures are not needed in pursuit of truth. Even the Upanishads and the Sages of truth declare the same.

The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the scriptures by realizing the Self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the Self is formless Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. In the realm of truth form, time, and space are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness.

Realizing the single stuff as the ultimate truth is Self-realization or truth realization. To realize this truth, there is no need for scriptures.

The ultimate truth has to be realized first then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.

That is why Sage Sankara: ~ VC 56. Neither by Yoga, nor by Sankhya, nor by good work, nor by learning, but by the realization of one's identity with Brahman is Liberation possible, and by no other means.

58. Loud speech consisting of a shower of words, the skill in expounding the Scriptures, and likewise erudition - these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the scholar but are no good for Liberation.

59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures consisting of many words are a dense forest that merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence, men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.

The real Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sri, Sankara is soulcentric knowledge. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is soulcentric knowledge that destroys ignorance.

Advaita is universal. Advaita is not for sale. Do not buy Advaita from the spiritual supermarket. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self. The world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaitic wisdom.

Advaitic truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to realize because you have accumulated mental garbage from different sources in the name of Advaita. Until you discard all the accumulated knowledge you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

The Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self shines on its own awareness when wisdom dawns.

The Advaita is the Soul is the cause and the support of all that exists as the world in which we exist. Advaita is the nature of God in truth, which is the Soul, the Self.

The Advaita is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe. From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. In the Advaita, the universe resides. And into the Advaita, the universe is dissolved. The Advaita is the parent of all that there is.

If you emotionally stick to the ‘I’-centric and you-centric Gurus and their teaching you will never reach anywhere.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you, yourself test and judge to be true.

Bhagavan Buddha:~ There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting

If you are seriously seeking truth you must complete your journey. Your emotions and sentiments towards the physical Guru keep you permanently in the mental asylum of the prison of ignorance.

Jesus said: ~ “Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find them, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel and will reign over all. [And after they have reigned they will rest.]"

Meher Baba: ~ “When the reality appears this ignorance which one thinks as reality becomes unreal.

Swami Vivekananda says: ~ Advaita encompasses everything. Advaita requires heavy-duty intellectualism. (From 'The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda)

Remember:~

‘I’, me, and mine belong to you, not to the Soul, which is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

‘I’, me, and mine are a reality within the domain of form, time, and space.

Remember the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, the witness of the ‘I’.

Without the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, there is no ‘I’

There is no truth in ‘I’, me, and mine because ‘I’, me, and mine belong to the dualistic illusion.

‘I’, me, and mine have nothing to do with the Soul, the Self because the Soul is the fullness of consciousness without the division of the form, time, and space.

The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind arises from the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The ‘I’ rises as the mind.

The mind is in the form of the universe.

Thus, ‘I’ is the mind or universe.

The seeker has to divert his attention to the source from where the mind (universe) rises and subsides.

The universe appears as a waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality).

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe raises from the Soul, the ‘Self’ like bubbles from the sea. Thus, know the Self to be one and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

First, find out how this world, in which you exist, has come into existence. If you know the answer then all your doubts will vanish.

Taittiriya Upanishad: ~ “The Self in man and in the sun is one. Those who understand this see through the world and go beyond the various sheaths of being to realize the unity of life.

The truth is very simple. It is only to realize the world in which we exist is created out of single stuff. Knowledge of a single stuff is Self-knowledge. Self-knowledge frees us all from ignorance.

Swami Vivekananda:~ “The wicked are always looking for defects. Flies come and seek for the ulcer, and bees come only for the honey in the flower. Do not follow the way of the fly but that of the bee.

The seeker has to have to discard all accumulated knowledge accumulated from different Gurus and teachers.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in ignorance but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

Arise! Awake!

Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The Soul only held in the illusory bondage of matter; perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, Mukthi - freedom, freedom from the bonds of imperfection, freedom from ignorance."

That is why Sage Sankara says:~ V C-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

In reality, three is no scope for two. Advaita means one without the second. Advaita means the Soul. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is one without the second.

Consciousness is one without the second because the world in which you exist is created out of consciousness. Thus, everything is consciousness. No second thing exists other than consciousness. Consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Advaitic truth has to be grasped mentally by realizing that form, time and space are nothing but an illusion created out of the single clay, and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Knowledge of the single clay is Advaita, the one without the second. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

No one becomes a Gnani by taking sannyasa, wearing religious robes, or mastering the scriptures.+

One need not renounce the worldly life and become a sanyasi or monk. One need not retire from his business or corporate job and become a Guru, all these religious and yogic propagated outdated ideas have to be discarded to realize the truth of the true existence.

Do not become a slave of all these outdated religious and yogic ideas they are not meant for those who seriously seeking the truth. There is no need to follow anyone. Self–realization becomes easy if you independently walk your path.

The Atmic path is your own path. You have to tread the path alone to reach it alone finally nothing remains as reality other than the Athma the Soul.

Emotionally and sentimentally getting stuck with the Guru is getting stuck to ignorance.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha: ~ Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.

Sage Sankara was a Brahma Gnani. Most of the modern masters are not Gnani. And you have to understand that to be a Gnani is one thing; to be a Guru is totally different.

Out of a million people perhaps one is a Gnani. Most of the Self- realized decide to remain silent – seeing the difficulty, that whatever they have realized is impossible to convey in any possible way to others; seeing that not only is it difficult to convey, it is bound to be misunderstood too.

A Gnani never claims himself as a Gnani, he guides the seekers, not posing himself as a Guru, and he does not force his wisdom on others. A Gnani is not a religious person or Yogi.

One need not roam one mountain to another, one ashram to another, or meet gurus or yogis to get Advaitic Gnana. One can get the Advaitic Gnana and become a Gnani wherever he lives.

We all are searching for truth within the illusion, not being aware of the fact that the illusion is created out of a single stuff which is the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, searching for the truth within illusion with the illusory self, within the illusory experience, has to be an illusion. The illusion is created and sustained, and finally, dissolves as consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God in truth.

No one becomes a Gnani by taking sannyasa or wearing religious robes by mastering the scriptures or identifying with the religious symbol. Religious robes and religious symbols are not the means to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Blind faith is an obstacle in the pursuit of truth. The seeker should not waste his time on, he should primarily reflect on the Soul, the Self; not on the ‘I’.

The Soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit (consciousness), is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Sruti says: ~ "brahmavit brahmaiva bhavati":~ He who knows Brahman becomes Brahman Itself. In the Advaita understanding of this statement, the "becoming" is only metaphorical. It is not as if something that was not Brahman suddenly becomes Brahman. Rather, "realizing Brahman" means a removal of the ignorance about one's own essential nature as Brahman. Thus, to "know Brahman" is to "be Brahman".

The one who has realized the Soul is the Self is a Gnani. Gnani is the one who is liberated even while embodied. Such a realization should not and cannot just be a literal understanding of Upanishadic Mahavakyas.

Remember:~

A Gnani is one who has realized the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. Thus, moksha is not a result of ritual action (path of karma a) or of devotional service (path of bhakti). These paths are egocentric paths, therefore, they will not help anyway to get rid of ignorance. In fact, moksha is not a result of anything, for it always exists.

All that is required is the removal of ignorance. The path of wisdom helps the seeker to acquire the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~"The man of knowledge, though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him, and only those like him understand his state.

Thus, moksha is not a result of ritual action (path of karma) or of devotional service (path of bhakti). : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

If anyone claims himself as a Gnani he is not a Gnani. The Soul, the Self alone is a Guru and the Soul alone is a Gnani.+

If anyone claims himself as a Gnani he is not a Gnani. The Soul, the Self alone is a Guru and the Soul alone is a Gnani.

Manduka Upanishads: ~ It is very difficult to find out who is a Gnani because he bears no external mark. Neither nudity nor the yellow robe has anything to do with him.

Gurus and yogis identify themselves with their body and sense organs and the world in which they exist which are illusory.

The Guru and disciple and the world in which Guru and disciple exist are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. The consciousness is the ultimate truth of Brahman.

Identifying as a Guru or some Guru’s disciple keeps one in the cage of ignorance. A person who identifies himself as a Guru or disciple will never be able to get Advaitic Gnana.

The Guru and disciple and the world in which Guru and disciple exist are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. The consciousness is the ultimate truth of Brahman.

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him, and only those like him understand his state.

Sage Sankara himself said: ~ A Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man".

Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."

So, Sage Sankara wore a Guru's robe only for the sake of the ignorant. So he was identified as a Guru with paramparas by religious people. For the truth seekers, Sage Sankara is a Brahma Gnani.

Thus, it proves that the religious gurus and yogis are not Gnanis because they identified themselves as holy people.

Tripura Rahasya: ~ Second-hand knowledge of the Self-gathered from books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward. (18: 89)

That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

Swami Vivekananda: ~ ‘Worship your Guru as God, but do not obey him blindly; love him all you will, but think for yourself. No blind belief can save you, work out your own salvation. Have only one idea of God - that God is an eternal help.

The physical Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the physical Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.

A Guru is needed in the religious and the yogic path. The path of wisdom is not a religious or yogic path. There is no need for a Guru to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (II -23-P-20)

A Gnani is neither anyone’s guru nor any guru’s disciple. He respects all the sage of the past and highlights good points in their teaching and he also highlights the obstacles, which blocks the realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Among thousands of men, scarcely one strives for perfection; and of those who strive and succeed, scarcely one knows the ‘Self’ in truth.

A Gnani sees only unity in diversity, just like a goldsmith estimating the gold in various items of jewelry sees only gold. When one identifies the Self with the form then only the form, time and space are present. But when one transcends form, time, and space the duality never remains as reality.

Gnanis are one in billions for they have ignored the opinions of whole peoples in their independent search for truth, and questioned all beliefs, all scriptures, and all authorities until they could be proved to be true. Even the arguments that religions have been followed since time immemorial make no difference to them because if people have believed a false thing over millions of years, the length of time does not prove it true.

Your intense urge to know the truth will take you to the ultimate end but your accumulated knowledge will block you from realizing the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Buddhists think sexual intercourse can be used in the spiritual path because it causes a strong focusing on Consciousness.+

Buddhist Teachings about Sex of Tantric Buddhism.

“Being able to have sexual contact without releasing semen is something needed when you practice the advanced stages of the complete stage." ~ Dalai Lama

•••

"For Buddhists, sexual intercourse can be used in the spiritual path because it causes a strong focus on Consciousness if the practitioner has firm compassion and wisdom. Its purpose is to manifest and prolong deeper levels of mind (described earlier with respect to the process of dying), in order to put their power to use in strengthening the realization of the emptiness. Otherwise, mere intercourse has nothing to do with spiritual cultivation. When a person has achieved a high level of practice in motivation and wisdom, then even the joining of the two sex organs or so-called intercourse does not detract from the maintenance of that person’s pure behavior..."

"Through special techniques of concentration during sex, competent practitioners can prolong very deep, subtle, and powerful states and put them to use to realize emptiness. However, if you engage in sexual intercourse within an ordinary mental context, there is no benefit." - How to Practice, Way to a Meaningful Life, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Translated by Jeffrey Hopkins.

Santthosh Kumaar:~ I respect the views and wisdom of H. H Dalai lama.

As per my conviction:~

Sex has nothing to do with the Soul, which is sexless because it is an ever-formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The one which born, lives has sex, and dies within the world is not the Self because the ‘Self’ is birthless and deathless.

The ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

If the ‘Self’ is not you, by you having sexual intercourse, ignorance will not vanish. The wisdom is not product intercourse. All these imaginary theories based on the false self within the false experience produce only hallucination not the realization of truth.

Those who propagate Samadhi through sexual intercourse are not Gnanis. Sexual intercourse has nothing to do with the Soul, which is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Those who indulge in sexual activities in order to get enlightenment will permanently remain in the prison of the dualistic illusion. They are unfit to acquire Self-knowledge.

Sex and the sexual act are not the means to Self-realization because the Self is a genderless and ever-formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Sex implies duality. The tantric sex is a theory based on the false Self (you) within the false experience (waking). When the world in which you exist is an illusion, having sex within the illusory world is bound to be an illusion.

Sex belongs to the domain of the duality. What is the use of discussing celibacy and sex in the Atmic path when the Atma is genderless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence?

Dalai Lama said: ~ Buddhism need not be the best religion though it is most scientific and religious and inquisitive. But Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama (Soul) and rebirth. Dali lama said that as an individual he believes in rebirth as he had come across a few cases of rebirth. Modern science, Dalai Lama hoped would unearth the mystery behind the rebirth. (In DH –dec-212009-Gulburga).

Buddhists do not believe in Atma. Thus, the entire Buddhist theories and sutras are physically based therefore, they yield the truth of the part not the truth of the whole. All the Buddhist teachings are not of the Buddha, but it is mixed up with other religion of different nations in Asia which were merged with Buddhism. Thus, It is very difficult to get the pure essence of pure essence Bhagavan Buddha‘s wisdom.

Buddhism has not proved the truth of Nonduality. Advaitic Sages agree Bhagavan Buddha pointed out the unreality of the world.

Bhagavan Buddha told people they were foolish to cling to it. But he stopped there. He came nearest to Advaita in speech but not to Advaita fully.

Only when we independently search for the truth without religion and its doctrine then we will be able to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is no need to study philosophies of Berkeley, Kant, Hume, and other western and eastern philosophers.+

Science may give the scientific answers, religion the religious answers, and the yogi will give yogic answers but in pursuit of truth the se...
