The argument is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the argument is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.+

It is no use arguing with someone who has faith in his belief system because for him there can be no possible refutation of what he believes, so rational argument is entirely useless. He clings to his belief, so strongly that he makes no distinction between the truth and his belief. One has to know the fact that God cannot exist without his existence.

Ignorant become wiser when he realzes with full and firm conviction the Self is the Soul and sees the universe in which he exists as an illusion created out of consciousness.
Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?" etc, because that is the right way to discuss or teach. People must first know what they are talking about. (Manduka Karika)

The path of wisdom is not for the exchange of views and opinions. One opinion may be used to contradict another, so both may be thrown away. Opinions are only thoughts. Thoughts are not the truth we are seeking because the ultimate truth is nondual.
Arguing and provoking the wisdom will not dawn. The argument is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the argument is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.

Manduka Upanishad shows how one opinion may be used to contradict another, so that both may be thrown away. Opinions are not for philosophy; they are as Ashtavakra says, merely thoughts; it wants the truth.

Opinions belong to scholasticism, not to ultimate truth or Brahman. Ultimate truth or Brahman has no use for opinions.

To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like injecting medicine into a corpse.
Advaitic Wisdom is not custom-made stuff to feed a different mindset according to their likes and fancy.
The un-contradictable truth is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The un-contradictable truth is beyond form, time, and space.
Thus, whatever knowledge is based on form, time, and space, is dualistic knowledge. The non-dualistic wisdom is nothing to do with form, time, and space.

Thus, mixing dualistic knowledge and trying to understand and realize the Advaitic truth is like mixing oil and water.

Remember:~

Self-knowledge will not arise from the exchange of views and opinions and arguments. The accumulated knowledge is not a yardstick, to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space.

In the path of wisdom discussion of the unimportant subject matter, and creates a hindrance. The path of truth is the path of verification. Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification.

What is the use of arguing on the base of the birth entity, which is not the Self?

What is the use of knowing what happens after death when the Self is birthless?
What is the use of thinking of heaven and hell when the ‘Self ‘is not an individual and it is never born and never dies?
Human knowledge is dualistic knowledge. Dualistic knowledge is helpful only in practical life in the practical world.
Dualistic knowledge is not Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Dualistic knowledge is based on form, time, and space whereas Self-knowledge is based on the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Self-knowledge Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is Soulcentric knowledge.
To acquire Self-knowledge the seeker must realize that the 'Self' is not the ‘I’ but the Self is the Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the ‘I’.

Whatever knowledge is based on ‘I’ is dualistic. And whatever is based on the Soul, the Self is non-dualistic. The seeker must discard the ‘I’ in order to get Advaitic Gnana.
Whatever teachings available so far are inadequate and useless to acquire self-knowledge. All the teachings glorified the ‘I’ and glorified the Gurus. All the ‘I-centric teaching Leads to hallucination based on imagination.
The Soul is the best object of study. But a purely theoretical study of the Soul does not take the seeker very far, though it is always better to study the Soul than to be completely ignorant about his existence.
The path of wisdom attracts only those who are in search of truth and they appreciate it greatly. The ignorant are not spiritually mature the receive Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The ignorant indulge in argument and provocation and personal attack, which hinder their own realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman.
That is why Jesus said: - Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)
~ Jesus meant knowledge of the Spirit or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Bhagvad Gita says: ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth."

Remember:~
Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. (II -23-P-20)
Thus, those who have taken the path of wisdom are chosen ones. The chosen one will get the grace of the Soul the inner Guru. The path of wisdom is the Soulcentric path, whereas all other paths are egocentric. All egocentric paths are leads to hallucination.
The Soul, the 'Self' reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.:~Santthosh Kumaar
