Meher Baba: ~ "There is no higher or lower goal. There is only one goal, Self-Realization."
Meher Baba what exists for us does not really exist; and what does not exist for us, really exists.
Meher Baba: ~ “When the reality appears this ignorance which one thinks as reality becomes unreal.
Meher Baba: ~ “It is absolutely essential for the spiritual aspirant who genuinely longs for union with God, the reality to shun the false practice of yogic posture and exercise, the meditation on other than the God the beloved.
Meher Baba: ~ Spirituality does not need renunciation of worldly activities. It means the internal renunciation of mundane desires. Mere asceticism does not lead to spirituality. The Infinite embraces all expressions of life.
Meher Baba: ~ “It takes time for the runner to gain speed; it takes time for the sleeper to awake and it takes ages for one who has been spiritually asleep to be spiritually awakened."
Remember:~
Santthosh Kumaar:~Your inherited blind belief-based God is not God in truth. The world in which you exist is the product of ignorance. Till ignorance is there the world in which you exist prevails as reality.
The intoxication of the dualistic illusion weakness to realize the Self’ hidden by the dualistic illusion will not allow to unfolding of the reality hidden by ignorance.
Remember:~
Meher Baba said: ~ God is your innermost Self. Do not search for God outside of you. Let these words be inscribed in your heart. Nothing is real but God. Nothing Matters but love for God. God is everywhere and does everything. God is beyond us and is everything. God alone is and all else is an illusion.
When Meher Baba says that God is your innermost Self and God alone is real all else is an illusion. It means that God, the Self alone is real and all else an illusion. The illusion is the world in which we exist.
Meher Baba says GOD, whom we do not see, we say is real; and the world, which we do see, we say is false. In experience, what exists for us does not really exist; and what does not exist for us, really exists
Meher Baba: ~ “When religion has become merely a matter of external rituals and ceremonies, it has become a cage for the Soul.
The Soul, the 'Self' has regained its own awareness the reality of the dualistic illusion fades away.
The seeker has to have a deeper understanding to see God as it is in the midst of the illusion from Meher Baba's spiritual pearls.
Why worship what is not God in place of real God. Make sure what God is supposed to be in actuality according to your own scriptures.
In Vedas God has been described as: ~
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the ‘Self’. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Even in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.
Thus, it clearly indicates that God is without the form and attributes and is ever free.
Vedic Gods, hardly have any significance in a present-day Hindu belief system. The Gods and Goddesses important to the Hindus of today are Ram, Krishna, Kali, Ganesh, Hanuman, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and the respective consorts of the last three, namely, Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Shakti. None of these deities figured prominently in the Vedic pantheon and some of them are clearly non-Vedic.
How can you worship the Absolute? That implies two ~ the worshiper and the worshiped, whereas the Absolute is nondual. One can worship his idea of the Absolute only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as a part.
The Upanishads say in effect that: ~ If you believe that the ‘the Soul, the Self’ is one and God (Brahman) is another you cannot understand Truth.
The religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which are apart from the Self.
People all over the world in the past and present accepted the idea of the existence of God. The fear of the God injected by the religion was the root cause of worship, superstitions, and dogmas. The religious belief is passed on to the populace from one generation to the next generation.
Realizing the single stuff of which this universe in which you exist is made, is Truth realization or Self-realization or God-realization.
The religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which are apart from the Self.
Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
Sage Sankara declaration: ~ “Brahman is the truth The World is Unreal everything is Truly Brahman and nothing else has any value.
Thus, the Advaitic orthodoxy has nothing to do with the Advaitic truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:-"He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
Bhagavad Gita Chapter:~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Kena Upanishad (6) Chapter I: ~ “That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended- That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (7) Chapter I:~ That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which the eye is perceived- That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (8) Chapter I:~ That which cannot he heard by the ear, but by which the hearing is perceived- That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (9)- Chapter I:~ That which cannot be smelt by the breath, but by which the breath smells an object- That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
To know what God is, we must know what the Self is in actuality. In deeper Self-search we become aware that our body, ego, and our experience of the universe are created out of single stuff, which is the Soul or consciousness.
Due to ignorance, we identify the Soul with the body and we become egocentric. When we become aware that the Self is not the form but the Self is formless then we become Soul-centric and realize that all the three states are merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
Consciousness is the ultimate truth. Consciousness is the Self. The ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Thus, the seekers move ahead and reach the nondual destination through this mental (inner) journey.
In Spirituality, the word “God” stands for the ultimate truth or Brahman. All that is needed then is to realize the fact that, the Self is not the body (you), not the mind, but the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness (Spirit).
Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God. A firm conviction about the Soul as the Self leads to nondualistic Self-awareness. Self-awareness is God-awareness.
First, realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Mentally hold on to the Soul and mentally reduce the world in which you exist as consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
