Happiness and suffering are physical whereas The Soul, the Self is the Spirit because the Soul is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Happiness and suffering belong to you. You are the false self within the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the universe. Since the reality of the universe is born of ignorance.
Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality.
Happiness and suffering have nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, which is unborn and eternal.
The happiness and suffering belong to the one who is born, lives, and dies within the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Without the Self-knowledge, the Soul remains in the bondage of illusory happiness and suffering caused by the dualistic illusion or Maya.
For the sincere spiritual seeker, duality and suffering are synonyms. So also Nonduality and bliss are synonyms.
By establishing the unreality and miserable nature of duality and upholding the non-dual nature of the Atman, the sole reality.
Remember:~
The ultimate truth itself is God. Consciousness is the ultimate truth and consciousness is God.
Consciousness is hidden by the universe and it is without the universe.
Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed to realize the ultimate truth of Brahman or God.
Emptiness is the nondual nature of the Soul, the Self. Emptiness is the Soul itself.
Emptiness is the fullness of consciousness without the illusory division of form, time, and space. There is unity in diversity in emptiness.
There is oneness in emptiness. When the Soul, the Self, remains in its own awareness then there is emptiness.
When there is no ignorance then there is emptiness. When there is no dualistic illusion then there is emptiness. : ~ : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
