You are not different from the ego because you are the ego. Without the ego you and the world in which you exist cease to exist.+

It is not the ego, which is blocking Self-realization. It is the ignorance that is blocking Self-realization. The ego is the product of ignorance.

You are not different from the ego because you are the ego. Without the ego you and the world in which you exist cease to exist.

It is impossible to eliminate the ego. You cannot go beyond the ego because you are the ego. The ego is the very basis of the world in which you exist. It is impossible to eliminate the ego.

Whatever is based on the ego is an illusion and whatever is based on the Soul is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

First, realize yourself is the ego and the real Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Without the ego, the world, in which we exist ceases to exist. The ego and the world appear together and disappear together. Therefore, it is impossible to get rid of the ego alone because the world has appeared along with the ego.
The world in which we exist is a reality, from the base of the ego. The world in which we exist is an illusion on the base of the Soul, the Self.
The world in which we exist is based on the ego; therefore it is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self. The ego is the false self within the false experience.
The seeker has to have a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’- to realize the world in which he exists is merely an illusion.

Whatever theories, paths and practices, and knowledge based on the ego will not lead to Self-realization.

Remember: ~

People talk of getting rid of the ego but it is impossible to get rid of the ego. The ego is the very basis of form, time, and space. Without the ego, form, time, and space cease to exist. Without the form, time, and space the world in which we exist ceases to exist.

Thus, a perfect understanding of ‘what is what'- is required to get rid of ignorance. Without getting rid of the ignorance the form, time, and space prevail as a reality.

One has to get rid of ignorance, not the ego because the ego is the product of ignorance.

Just by saying let there be ‘oneness’ the diversity will not vanish. Without the Advaitic wisdom, ignorance will not vanish.

Without getting rid of ignorance, the dualistic illusion (the world in which you exist) prevails as a reality.

Trying to get rid of the ‘ego’ is like trying to get mangoes from a coconut tree. The truth is not imagination. Ornamental words may give satisfaction to a certain mindset but it blocks one from realizing the ‘Self’ hidden by ignorance.

The ultimate truth is the fullness of consciousness. There is nothing apart from consciousness, because, the whole universe is nothing but consciousness.:~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaita is not a theory. Advaita is the nature of the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.+

All the theories are based on ego, which is the false self within the illusory universe has no value as truth. The ultimate truth is based on the Soul, which is the real Self and is the cause of the illusory universe.

Advaita is not a theory.

Advaita is the nature of the  ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the ‘Self’.

Advaita is the Soul itself.

Advaita is the nature of God because Rigveda says the Soul itself is God.

Advaita is nothing but God in truth.

Thus, it is time to realize the world in which we exist is created out of the Soul, which is the ‘Self’. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is the cause of the world in which we exist and it, itself is uncaused. The Soul alone is real and eternal. The eternal Soul itself is God. There is no other God other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Realize the Soul, the Self is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Remember:~

The multitude of so many different theories, opinions, and fancies which prevail are merely ideas based on the dualistic perspective.

Whatever is based on the dualistic perspective is bound to be falsehood because the reality is based on the nondualistic perspective.

The duality is based on the matter whereas nonduality is based on Spirit.

The matter is nothing but an illusion created out of the Spirit. Therefore, the Spirit alone is real and eternal.

Thus, whatever is based on the Spirit is real and eternal. The is based on the matter is bound to be an illusion.

The ‘I’ is nothing but the matter.

The mind is nothing but matter.

The universe is nothing but matter.

The waking is nothing but matter.

Remember:~

The Soul, the Self is the Spirit.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the matter is an illusion created out of the Spirit.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the mind is an illusion created out of the Spirit.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the universe is an illusion created out of the Spirit.

From the standpoint of the Soul, waking is an illusion created out of the Spirit.

The one who realizes the Matter and the Spirit are one, in essence, enters the Advaitic awareness in the midst of the dualistic illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The seeker has to go on removing all the obstacles, which are blocking Self-realization.+

Unless one drops all your garbage accumulated knowledge it is impossible to realize the ‘Self’ hidden by the illusory universe or Maya.
The seeker has to think deeply instead of passing the opinion on his own point of view and he has to drop the judgmental attitude, which blocks the realization of the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.
The truth is not custom-made stuff to please a different mindset.
What is the use of arguing on the base of the birth entity, which is not the Self?
What is the use of knowing what happens after death when the Self is unborn eternal?
What is the use of thinking of heaven and hell when the ‘Self ‘is not an individual and it is never born and it never dies?
Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.
Intellectual discussion is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth because intellectual knowledge is egocentric knowledge, which is limited to the domain of form, time, and space.

Remeber:~

The greatest hindrance is mixing religion, and yogic theories with Sprituality or Adyathma. Moreover, attachment to scriptures, personal God, and religious code of conduct keep one permanently in the grip of the dualistic illusion.

Embark on the journey of the truth; it frees the Soul, the Self from the illusion of form, time, and space.

If you are stuck to any physical Guru or if you identify yourself with any Guru’s disciple then your spiritual journey is incomplete.
Sticking to physical Guru is sticking to ignorance. If you hold yourself as a follower or disciple of a Guru then you are stuck by accepting the dualistic illusion as reality
Only the ignorant identify themselves as a Guru or some Guru’s disciple.
For those who are seeking truth nothing but the truth, this Gurudom business becomes a great hindrance in the truth-realization.
The Advaitic wisdom is not suited for the unsettled mindset, which is stick to the religion, yoga and all non-~Vedic worship and activities. There is no use of convincing such a mindset.
The ignorant (unsettled mind) will not be able to grasp the esoteric truth, which is beyond the form, time and space. there is no use to convince the unsettled mind because they are unfit to tread the Atmic path.
The goal of the truth-seeker is to acquire Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is inherent in every seeker of truth. Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana does not come from outside, it is hidden within the world in which we exist.
Self-knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge. Therefore, there is no use of studying the scriptures and other scriptures in order to acquire the non-dual wisdom.
That is why Bhagavan Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion, the concept of God and scriptures.
The seeker has to independently strive to realize the truth without any guru or any teaching.

Remember:~

When you finally realize the ‘Self ‘ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Self-inquiry is to realize the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the ‘Self is the Soul’, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Remember: ~

You are not the ‘Self.

You are bound by form, time, and space.

You are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.

You are never free because the world in which you exist is the product of ignorance.

It is not you who is in ignorance but it is the Soul, which is in ignorance of its own true nature. When the Soul wakes up from its sleep of ignorance and remains in its own awareness the world in which you exist becomes one with Soul-awareness.

When ignorance vanishes through wisdom than the world in which you exist never again prevails as a reality.

The world in which you exist is created out of single clay. That single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the Self. The Soul is not ‘I’. The Soul is the witness of the ‘I’ which appears and disappears.

The Soul is the only permanent thing and the ‘I’ is merely an illusion. If you do not understand this truth you will never be able to cross the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion.

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality. The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ “If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take'I' as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such mindsets. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

Advaita is the true nature of existence. The ‘I’ hides the Advaitic reality. Realize the ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of consciousness, which is Advaita. Consciousness is Advaita because it is second to none. The world in which you exist is the dvaita (duality) is merely an illusion created out of consciousness, which is Advaita. The Advaita (nonduality) is real and eternal the dvaita (duality) is merely an illusion.

Holding ‘I’ as the ‘Self’ is the cause of ignorance. Realize the ‘I’ is merely an illusion. Stop identifying the Self as ‘I’ or ‘I AM’. Till you identify the Self as ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ -the Soul will remain in the cage of ignorance. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The Agamas do not derive their authority from the Vedas but are not antagonistic to them. They are all non-Vedic in spirit and character.+

The Agamas do not derive their authority from the Vedas but are not antagonistic to them. They are all non-Vedic in spirit and character. They are regarded as sacred by the priest-craft who indulge in non-Vedic worship and practices.

Vedic religion or Santana Dharma has nothing to do with the Puranas, Mahabharata, and Ramayana too. There are myths in Hinduism, but those myths are contained in the Agamas.

The Agamas have their own myths about the gods and do not rely on the Puranic myths at all. Agamicmyths are different from Puranic myths in the same stories.

For instance, the birth of Lord Ganesha, where it is stated that Lord Shiva and Uma took the form of elephants and created Ganesha out of love, which is entirely different from the Puranic and Mahabharata version.

Most people in the West also in India find it hard to digest the historical truth, but rather keep parroting that the Vedas and Upanishads are the source and pinnacle of Hinduism because they are unaware of the fact that, Hinduism has nothing to do with the Vedic religion and Santana Dharma.

It is erroneous, but the prevalent popular notion is that the Agamas ultimately derived from the Vedas or are an amplification of it. This is usually said to find comfort. But the fact is the Agamas preceded the Vedas. It does not derive from the Vedas nor does it amplify anything from the Vedas. The Agamas have their own philosophy.

Hinduism, consisting of Saivism, Vaishnavism, and Saktism, comprising practically 98% of the Hindu believers, whether they know it or not, abide by the philosophy of the Agamas, and not that of the Upanishads.

Where does that leave the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Mahabharata, Bhagavad-Gita, and Ramayana? At best as unrelated supplemental readings. These supplementary texts have nothing to do with the temples, festivals, sacraments, or philosophy, which is the core of the religious and spiritual life of the Hindu. Along with it, all of its teachings and philosophy, including Varna. For there is no varna in the Agamas!

It is better to hold the view that the Agamas, and the Vedas with their related texts the Upanishads, Puranas, Itihasas, and commentaries, were two parallel and independent streams with much conformity and similarity, and except that the Veda stream was eventually replaced completely by the Agama stream. What exists today is the Agama tradition, with the Veda tradition only in name.

That is why Astavakra says: ~ “My child you may speak upon various scriptures or hear the sermons on the scriptures. But you cannot establish in the ‘Self’ unless you forget all. 16-1 – p49: ~Santthosh Kumaar

Heaven and hell are a religious fable. Every religion has its own idea of heaven and hell.+

Heaven and hell are a religious fable. Every religion has its own idea of heaven and hell. Religion is based on the birth entity. The one, which is born, lives, and dies in this world is not the Self. The ‘Self’ is the ‘Soul’, which is birthless and deathless because it is the ever-formless, timeless spaceless existence.

Unless one gives up the ideas of heaven and hell, it is impossible to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth must be proved here and now, on this earth. If that cannot be done, one cannot consider any such idea, as the existence of heaven and hell as untrue.

If the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the ‘Soul’ then the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. If the world in which you exist is mere an illusion then whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced as a reality within the world is bound to be an illusion. Thus, whatever you believed, such as the religious Gods, heaven and hell are your beliefs, within the dualistic illusion. The Soul alone is real God and all else is merely an illusion.

Vaikuntha, Kailasa, paradise, and heaven are religious fables. The Vaikunta and Kailasa paradise and heaven do not exist in reality. Vaikunta and Kailasa paradise and heaven are mere an imagination based on the false self within the false experience (waking).

To get Freedom, one need not proceed either to Vaikuntha or Kailasa or paradise or heaven. It is attainable in this very life itself in this very world, through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The Soul is not to be acquired afresh. It is there already. The Soul is the cause of this universe and it, itself is uncaused.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the only reality. The Soul is boundless and infinite. The Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in the universe.

The universe and the multiplicity of individuals are a reality within the dualistic illusion. Due to ignorance, the dualistic illusion seems to be a reality. When the Soul wakes up from its sleep of ignorance then there is nothing apart from it. The universe has no separate existence apart from consciousness.

Shruti has directly denied manifoldness in Brahman. The non-dual cause being an established fact, how could the phenomenal universe be different from It?

The Shruti has condemned (the belief in variety) in the words, “The person who”, being deceived by Maya, “sees variety in this (Brahman), goes from death to death”.

Inasmuch as all beings are born of Brahman, the supreme Atman, they must be understood to be verily Brahman.

The Shruti has clearly declared that Brahman alone is the substratum of all varieties of names, forms, and actions.

The Shruti in the form of the Brihadaranyaka has declared that this Atman, which is the Self of all, is verily Brahman. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

When there are no divisions of illusory form, time, and space, then there is the Advaitic reality.+

Most of the Gurus and Yogis s approach was more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the 'I', they take it as real. All their teachings of Advaita are based on the dualistic perspective. They describe marvelously the goal but do not indicate the steps to be taken: their recurring phrases "unified consciousness" and "let go" and "'love alone" are not a roadmap. Such teaching will not yield the truth of the whole.

Many Gurus describe perfection is the awakening to Reality ~the realization that pure Consciousness alone is, that the perpetually fluctuating and evanescent contents of the mind derive from it. This awakening effectively happens in an instant. But in order for the lightning flash to take place, resulting in a firm and unshakable certitude, long labor is necessary, which they seem to underestimate. “Truth is formless is their answer.

Many Guru's teaching seems essentially negative, potent but bitter medicine for those imprisoned by institutional cults. They break the disciple's bonds but then lead him to a vast desert where they abandon him.

The ‘I’ is blocking your realization of truth. The ‘I’ based teachings have to be discarded in order to realize the Advaitic reality.

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality. The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes in order to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

Remember:~

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.
Where there is ‘I’ there is ignorance.
Where there is ignorance there is separation.
Where there is a separation there is duality.
Where there is duality there is an illusion.
Where there is an illusion there is the mind.
Where there is the mind there is the universe.
Where there is the universe there is waking or dream.
Where there is the universe there is waking or dream there is form, time, and space.

But remember:~

Where there is no ‘I’ there is no ignorance.
Where there is no ignorance there is no separation.
Where there is no separation there is no duality.
Where there is no duality there is an illusion.
Where there is no illusion there is no mind.
Where there is no mind there is no universe.
Where there is no universe there is no waking or dream.
Where there is no waking or dream there is no form, time, and space

When there are no divisions of illusory form, time, and space, then there is the Advaitic reality. Perfect understanding of ‘what is what' leads to the realization of Advaitic truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. :~Santthosh Kumaar

You have to tread the path alone to reach it alone finally nothing remains as reality other than the Athma, the Self.+

The Atmic path is not for religious and yogic-minded people. Religious and yogic people must move on their chosen path. The Atmic path is for the seekers of truth who are seriously searching for the truth of their own existence.

One need not renounce worldly life and become a sanyasi or monk. One need not retire from his business or corporate job and become a Guru all these religious and yogic propagated outdated ideas has to be discarded to realize the truth of the true existence.

Do not become a slave of all these outdated religious and yogic ideas they are not meant for those who seriously seeking the truth. There is no need to follow anyone. Self –realization becomes easy if you independently walk your path.

Atmic path is your own path. You have to tread the path alone to reach it alone finally nothing remains as reality other than the Athma, the Self.

Stop your emotionally and sentimentally getting stuck with the Guru.

That is why Buddha: ~ Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.

Sage Sankara was a Gnani. Most of the modern masters are not Gnani. And you have to understand that to be a Gnani is one thing; to be a Guru is totally different.

Out of a million people perhaps one is a Gnani. Most of the Self- realized decide to remain silent – seeing the difficulty, that whatever they have realized is impossible to convey in any possible way to others; seeing that not only is it difficult to convey, it is bound to be misunderstood too.

A Gnani never claims himself as a Gnani, he guides the seekers, not posing himself as a Guru, and he does not force his wisdom on others. A Gnani is not a religious person or Yogi.

One need not roam one mountain to another, one ashram to another or meeting gurus or yogis in order to get Gnana. One can get Gnana and become a Gnani wherever he lives.

We all are searching  for truth within the illusion not being aware of the fact that, the illusion is created out of single stuff which is the formless Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, searching the truth in illusion with the illusory self, within the illusory experience, has to be an illusion. The illusion is created, and sustained, and finally dissolves as consciousness. There is no second thing exists other than  consciousness. The consciousness is ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman itself is God in truth.

No one becomes a Gnani by taking sanyasa or wearing religious robes or by mastering the scriptures or by identifying with the religious symbol. Religious robe and religious symbol are not the means to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Blind faith is an obstacle in the pursuit of truth. The seeker should not waste his time on, he should primarily reflect on the Soul, the innermost self; not on the ‘I’.

The Soul, which is present in the form of the spirit (consciousness), is ever formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

Sruti says: ~ "brahmavit brahmaiva bhavati" - He who knows Brahman becomes Brahman Itself. In the Advaita understanding of this statement, the "becoming" is only metaphorical. It is not as if something that was not Brahman suddenly becomes Brahman. Rather, "realizing Brahman" means a removal of the ignorance about one's own essential nature as Brahman. Thus, to "know Brahman" is to "be Brahman".

The one who has realized the identity the Soul, the innermost self with the Brahman is a Gnani, one who is liberated even while embodied. Such realization should not and cannot just be a literal understanding of Upanishadic Mahavakyas.

Remember:~

A Gnani is one who has realized the ultimate truth of the identity of the Soul, the Self. Thus, moksha is not a result of ritual action (path of karma a) or of devotional service (path of bhakti). These paths are egocentric paths therefore, they will not help anyway to get rid of ignorance. In fact, moksha is not a result of anything, for it always exists.

All that is required is the removal of ignorance. The path of wisdom helps the seeker to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Ashtavakra: ~"The man of knowledge, though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

: ~ Santthosh Kumaar
