Some Gurus say surrender your Soul to God. But the Soul is not different from God because the Soul itself is God in truth. There is no second God other than the Soul.
Those who are unaware there is no difference between the Soul and God belong to religion and yoga. Religion and yoga are nothing to do with Spirituality.
Sage Sankara says:~ ‘He who knows the Brahman (God in truth) is one and the Soul, the ‘Self’ is another, does not know Brahman (God in truth).”
The Atman or the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness is the Self.
Consciousness is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.
What is not the consciousness in waking, dream, or deep sleep? The waking and the dream cease to exist without consciousness. The Soul (witness and the three states (witnessed) are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Thus, the seeker, seeking and his destination all are one in essence.
There is only a need to realize the whole universe in which we exist is created out of the consciousness (Soul), the Self.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, and the universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
From the ultimate standpoint, no second thing exists other than consciousness. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
God in truth is the Atman, the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness. Do not accept any other God other than Atman not worship other than Atman. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious. Nothing is real but God. Nothing Matters but love for God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is and all else is an illusion. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
