The word 'Advaita' means non-duality. Sage Sankara describes that there is only one reality and one truth, which is Athma. Athma is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Adyatma is nothing to do with religious sects or creeds and religious beliefs. Adyatma is pure spirituality. Knowledge of Atma is Adyatma. Advaita is Adyatma.
Adyatma is the knowledge of the truth hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. Bifurcate religion, yoga, and theoretical philosophy and base the truth on the Athma it is Adyathma.
Adyatma is based on the ultimate truth, which is based on the Atman or Spirit, which is the Self.
Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.
Athma is the Self. Athma is present in the form of consciousness. Athma is real and Athma is the cause of the universe.
The universe is not real, not eternal, and is of transient nature. Athma, the Self is changeless, formless, indivisible, unchanging, immutable, beyond attributes, beyond the reach of 5 senses, and beyond the realms of illusory form, time, and space or Maya.
Athma is the cause of the universe and Athma is causeless.
Vedanta means the end of Vedas. The end of Vedas means the end of dualistic knowledge. Dualistic knowledge is based on ignorance.
The Advaitic wisdom of the Sage Sankara contains the essence of Vedas. The essence of Vedas is the nonduality of Advaita.
Vedas are the foundation of Sanatana Dharma.
The path Gnana or path of wisdom is to realize the truth, which is hidden by ignorance.
The essence of Vedas is that there is one supreme reality (non-dual), which is hidden by the illusory universe. Athma is hidden by the illusory universe because the illusory universe is created out of Athma, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Sage Sankara says this world is transient, temporary, the adobe of sorrows, and is not real. It is due to ignorance (illusion) that this universe looks different Athma. Athma alone is real. Athma is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Sage Sankara asks the seeker should raise above
form, time, and space.
The physical body, ego, and the universe are not different from Athma, which is present in the form of consciousness.:~Santthosh Kumaar
