Sage Sankara:~ Action (karma) cannot destroy ignorance, for it is not in conflict with or opposed to ignorance. Knowledge does verily destroy ignorance as light destroys deep darkness. ~ Atma Bodha

Action/reaction is a theory based on the false self. You are the false ‘Self’ within the dualistic illusion (world). Action means karma.

If one accepts the form (you or ego) as the Self then the karma theory becomes the universal principle. If you accept the Self is not you but the Self is the nondual Soul’, then the world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion.

By accepting karma theory, one has accepted the unreal universe as reality and he permanently remains in the clutches of ignorance.

The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the world.

The world appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality).

Thus, Karma theory is a hindrance in the path of truth because one accepts the false self(ego) as real the real Self, and false experience (waking) as real experience and he thinks all his actions will yield fruits.

Thus, he will remain permanently in the realm of unreality or ignorance. Without getting rid of ignorance truth realization or Self-realization is an impossibility.

Dalai Lama said:~ Buddhism need not be the best religion though it is most scientific and religion and inquisitive. But Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama (Soul) and rebirth. Dali lama said that as an individual he believes in rebirth as he had come across a few cases of rebirth. Modern science, Dalai Lama hoped would unearth the mystery behind the rebirth. People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they accepted the duality as a reality.

People who believe in reincarnation and rebirth theories are unaware of the fact that their belief is based on the waking entity, which is the false Self within the false experience.

The waking entity (you) itself is a false self within the false experience,(waking state) it means the present experience of birth, life, death and the world is a falsehood.

Whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced as the waking entity is bound to be a falsehood because the Soul, the Self is birthless because it is unborn eternal. Therefore, the rebirth and reincarnation theory based on the false self is bound to be a falsehood.

Accepting rebirth and reincarnation theory as reality is accepting the false self (ego) as a real Self and false experience (waking) as reality. Accepting the waling state as reality is accepting the illusory universe as a reality.

Self-realization is impossible if one accepts the present waking entity as the real Self because the Self is neither the waking entity nor the Self is a dream entity, but the Self is a nondual Soul, which is the cause of the three states.

The three states are impermanent, but the Sou, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness, is permanent and eternal.

In nondualistic reality, the three states are one in essence. And that essence is consciousness. Therefore, there is no second thing exists other than consciousness. Thus, consciousness b is second to none.

A deeper self-search reveals the fact that the waking experience itself is an illusion. It means the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world are an illusion.

Thus, the reincarnation theory based on the false self (ego) within the false experience (waking) is bound to be a falsehood.

When the waking entity is not the Self then whatever theories are based on the waking entity imagined theory.

This imagined theory based on the waking entity or ego is for those lower mindsets who are incapable of grasping the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
