To realize the truth, which is hidden by ignorance, one must have the courage of Bhagavan Buddha.+

The realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman is very simple. We make it complicated by mixing diverse theories, different ideologies, religions, and yoga. All our accumulated knowledge is the greatest hindrance in the pursuit of truth.
To realize the truth, which is hidden by ignorance, one must have the courage of Bhagavan Buddha.
Bhagavan Buddha got enlightenment only after dropping the religion, Vedas, and the concept of God.
To realize the simple truth there is no need to go from one mountain to another, one Ashram to another or worship the Godmen or Guru as a God, or convert from one faith to another. The truth is universal. Anyone can realize it if has an intense urge.
The Advaitc truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance. You have to only realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.
I can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes a reality.
One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until he gets a firm conviction of what is what. Words of wisdom are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’.
People need to read and hear the words of wisdom to think reason and reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.
“It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth?’ and ‘’what is untruth?’.
It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. In the world in which we exist, all our thoughts, words, beliefs, and experiences are nothing but consciousness. Realizing consciousness is everything, is truth realization or Self-realization or God-realization.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation.+

Only the ignorant say the truth is nothing without knowing what is untruth how can one what is the truth.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani) then why you are sticking to a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

The truth is hidden by ignorance. Ignorance is present in the form of the ‘I’. the ‘I’ is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as a waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep(nonduality).

The seeker has to find out: ~

‘What is it that appears as the waking?’

“What is it that appears as a dream?’

‘What is it that disappears as deep sleep?’

A deeper self-search reveals the fact that whatever appears and disappears is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The witness of the appearance and disappearance of the three states is also the Soul.

All three states are created out of single clay. And that single clay is the consciousness. in reality, the witness (Soul) and the witnessed (three states) are one in essence.

The knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Self- Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana cannot be attained by egocentric reasoning.+

Self-knowledge, when shared by an unqualified person, is not easily comprehended, because it is diversely regarded by disputants. But when it is shared by a Gnani, there can remain no more doubt about It.
Consciousness is subtler than the subtlest and not to be known through a perverted argument.
Self- Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana cannot be attained by egocentric reasoning. Consciousness becomes easy to comprehend, soul-centric reasoning. One has to attain Self-knowledge right now in this very life.
Sage Sankara restrained himself from parting the Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the mass and it was given only a selected few.
Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was hidden from the masses who were not qualified and receptive to it.
Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few.
Thus, religion was given to the mass and Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was given to only a selected few.
Thus we find traces of Advaitic wisdom in the scriptures in the form of parables.
Brahman is not the space between two thoughts. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, that God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
If the Self is formless, then who is that who thinks? and to who is the thinker?
One has to become aware of the fact that, the thinker and his thoughts are part of the world which is an illusion and the Self is neither the thinker nor the thought, but the Self is that which is aware of the thinker, the thought, and the world together without the physical apparatus.
The people who are stuck with thinker and thought will never be able to cross the threshold of duality.
When the Self is neither the ego nor the body how can one experience anything which exists prior to the experience of form, time, and space?
How can one experience the non-dualistic bliss as a person within the illusion?
If the waking entity experiences the so-called bliss within the waking experience, then it is the false entity is experiencing the false experience within the falsehood because when wisdom dawns the unreal nature of the waking experience is exposed in the same way as the unreal nature of the dream was exposed when waking took place.
Man perceives the world within the waking or dream. The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when the waking entity becomes aware that the Self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity, but the Self is the formless witness of the three states, which come and go in succession.
Thus, the witness (consciousness or Soul) and witnessed (mind or the universe or waking) are one in essence where there is the scope for anything to exist other than consciousness.
A Gnani is one who sees the three states in equanimity because he is fully aware that all the three states are merely an illusion created out of consciousness He sees everything as consciousness, even though he is in the midst of diversity.
Thus, what is the use of inquiring WHO AM I? when the Self is not ‘I’?.
The nature of the universe is restless. There is no permanent peace ever present in the universe.
Till one holds the universe as reality the duality will prevail as reality.
Till duality is there permanent peace is impossible to gain. Peace is the nature of the Soul, the Self.
The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Self-awareness leads to the realm of Nondualistic peace, which is permanent and eternal.

Remember:~

Sage Sankara says: ~ A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by a perfect understanding of what is what but never by perverse arguments.
Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.

When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Sage Sankara: ~ VC~.63: "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.
Sage Sankara says: - VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-self.
Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.
Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories one remains in the realm of dualistic illusion or Maya.
You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search. Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Happiness and suffering have nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, which is unborn and eternal.+

Happiness and suffering are physical whereas The Soul, the Self is the Spirit because the Soul is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Happiness and suffering belong to you. You are the false self within the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the universe. Since the reality of the universe is born of ignorance.
Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality.
Happiness and suffering have nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, which is unborn and eternal.
The happiness and suffering belong to the one who is born, lives, and dies within the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Without the Self-knowledge, the Soul remains in the bondage of illusory happiness and suffering caused by the dualistic illusion or Maya.
For the sincere spiritual seeker, duality and suffering are synonyms. So also Nonduality and bliss are synonyms.
By establishing the unreality and miserable nature of duality and upholding the non-dual nature of the Atman, the sole reality.
Remember:~
The ultimate truth itself is God. Consciousness is the ultimate truth and consciousness is God.
Consciousness is hidden by the universe and it is without the universe.
Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed to realize the ultimate truth of Brahman or God.
Emptiness is the nondual nature of the Soul, the Self. Emptiness is the Soul itself.
Emptiness is the fullness of consciousness without the illusory division of form, time, and space. There is unity in diversity in emptiness.
There is oneness in emptiness. When the Soul, the Self, remains in its own awareness then there is emptiness.
When there is no ignorance then there is emptiness. When there is no dualistic illusion then there is emptiness. : ~  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The love, hate, and the world in which you exist are a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya.+

The love, hate, and the world in which you exist are a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Love belongs to humanity. Humanity is a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Love has nothing to do with the Soul or the Spirit because it is ever nondual.
Without consciousness, there is no love no hate. The love, hate, and the world in which you exist are made of the single stuff.
Love is possible in the domain of form, time, and space. Without form, time, and space love ceases to exist.
Form, time, and space are present in the form of the universe. The universe (I) is merely an illusion.
Love is very much necessary in practical life within the practical world.
Love implies duality. Whatever is of duality is a falsehood. Thus, love is a reality within the falsehood. Lover and love cease to exist in reality because the duality is not a reality.
The experience of practical life within the practical world is a reality within the waking experience, but the waking experience itself is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
Thus, lover, love, and the world are one, in essence. Thus, the path of love is a religious path because religion is the path of individuality.
The ‘Self’ is not an individual to love or hate. In reality, there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. Thus, there is no duality whereas love implies duality.
The ‘Self is the fullness of consciousness. The Soul, the Self, is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Humanism is limited to practical life within the practical world. The path of love is the path for humanity therefore, it is an individualized path.
The path of love is limited to the physical structure, it cannot transport one to the ultimate end.
Thus, the seeker has to understand that, from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the practical life, and the practical world are merely an illusion.
Love ceases to exist without consciousness. Thus, consciousness is prior to love. Consciousness is the ultimate truth and eternal.
Remember:~ People who think of a duty to the world to remove others' sufferings are thinking within the dualistic illusion or Maya.
People who think the world is full of suffering are also unaware their physical existence is limited to the dualistic illusion or Maya.
If one says this universe is real then:~
A person, who stamped his foot on the ground to refute to show the world, is real, ignores that in a dream he would do exactly the same--stamp his dream foot on the ground and assert it to be real.
If you say you have a flesh body in a dream, the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when you realize the ‘Self is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
If the waking is unreal then your experience of birth, life, death, and the world within the waking experience also is unreal (illusion).
The question is based on the waking entity (you or ego). Whatever is based on the waking entity (ego) is based on the dualistic perspective.
You have to learn to view the worldview from the non-dualistic perspective then only you will be able to have the Soulcentric view of the worldview.
In Advaitic Self-awareness, the ego is not considered as ego, even though the ego is present, the body is not considered as a body even though the body is present, and the world which confronts him is not considered as the world even though the world is present, the duality ceases even though the duality is present, because of wisdom everything is considered as consciousness. Thus, there is conscious oneness.
Only in ignorance, the world in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self.
The world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.
People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.
The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego and, therefore, experiences birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as the consciousness and he is fully aware that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness.
Thus, all the egocentric knowledge has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe.
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, that God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then no second thing exists other than consciousness. Thus, the whole universe and its contents are nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.
Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
Chandogya Upanishad:~ One who meditates upon and realizes the 'Self' discovers that everything in the cosmos-- energy and space, fire and water, name and form, birth and death, mind and will, word and deed, mantrams and meditation--all come from the Self.:~ Santthosh Kumaaar

he scriptures are not needed in the pursuit of truth.+

Some Gurus declare that “Just by sitting quiet and knowing Self is without the words, nothing else has to be done, and shortly one arrives at his natural state”.

Such a declaration does not lead one to Advaitic Self-awareness. Such acts will not destroy, ignorance. Without getting rid of ignorance, wisdom will not dawn.

Only Advaitc wisdom leads to Self-awareness, in the midst of the duality. Only perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what' leads to Advaitic Self-awareness.

Ignorance will not vanish without Advaitic wisdom. It is not you who has to get rid of ignorance because you and you and your experience of the world are the product of ignorance.

The Soul, the Self is in ignorance of its own nondual true nature. Only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the Soul, the Self, awake from the sleep of ignorance.

When the Soul remains in its own awareness of its own true nature, there is no division in the Soul or consciousness, there is unity in diversity.

The Gurus who advise getting rid of ignorance first must realize the fact that it is not the man who is in ignorance, but it is the Soul, which is in ignorance.
Thus, it is necessary to realize ‘what is what’ to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space.

The Gurus who think the Self is within the body are propagating half-baked knowledge. Their views and judgment of Advaita or nonduality are based on a dualistic perspective.

Only those who are able to view and judge the three states from a nondualistic perspective have perfect knowledge.

All accumulated Advaitic knowledge accumulated from different Gurus will not yield truth because they are not the verified truth. The seeker has to do his homework to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space.

Remember:~

Swami Vivekananda said: - “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, and none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The scriptures are not needed in the pursuit of truth. Even the Upanishads and the Sages of truth declare the same.

Katha Upanishad:~ This Atman cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas, or by intelligence, or by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (Ch-II -23-P-20)

Mundaka Upanishad: - This Atman cannot be attained through the study of the Vedas, nor through intelligence, nor through much learning. He who chooses Atman—by him alone is Atman attained. It is Atman that reveals to the seeker Its true nature. (3 –page-70 Upanishads by Nikilanada)

The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the scriptures by realizing the Self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity, but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

In the realm of truth, form, time, and space are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Realizing the single stuff as the ultimate truth is Self-realization or truth realization. To realize this truth, there is no need for the scriptures.

The ultimate truth has to be realized first, and then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.

Scriptures are being added from time to time. This process will go on. There is the final authority among them? One contradicts the other: duality reigns supreme.

I quote Scriptural citations only after verifying reality and proving truth, to point out that the scriptures teach the same thing. If one quotes them before having demonstrated the truth, then it is scholasticism. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Goudpada quotes from the Upanishads: ~ "There's no plurality here."+

Sage  Goudpada quotes from the Upanishads: ~ "There's no plurality here."  "The Soul through its powers appears to be many"; "those who are attached to the creation or production or origination go to utter darkness"; "the unborn is never reborn, for what can produce it?”

In the Bhagavad, Gita Krishna says: ~It is only one amongst thousands of people who strive for spiritual salvation. Even amongst such seekers, it is only the rare person who gets to know “Self” correctly.’ (7.3)

In Manduka Upanishad: ~ Brahman and Atman are defined as the same: ~

Manduka Upanishad, verse 2:~ All indeed is, this Brahman; This Atman is Brahman.

While Brahman lies behind the sum total of the objective universe, some human minds boggle at any attempt to explain it with only the tools provided by reason. Brahman is beyond the senses, beyond the mind, beyond intelligence, beyond imagination. Indeed, the highest idea is that Brahman is beyond both existence and non-existence, transcending and including time, causation, and space, and thus can never be known in the same material sense as one traditionally 'understands' a given concept or object.

Imagine a person who is blind from birth and has not seen anything. Is it possible for us to explain to him the meaning of the color red? Is any amount of thinking or reasoning on his part ever going to make him understand the sensation of the color red? Similarly, the idea of Brahman cannot be explained or understood through material reasoning or any form of human communication. Brahman is like the color red; those who can sense it cannot explain or argue with those who have never sensed it. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
